a funny thing to share. in hindi girls calls MIL also as maa(just like anandi calls ira and meenu).but gangaa calls sumitra kakisa when she entered bh,but then after she was married to jagya.
but in telugu dubbing version of bv(chinnari pellikuturu) as they can't show her calling sumi as kakisa ( which gives mening of choti maa, here audience will not accept their marriage in future as it seems very odd to them,that"s why in telugu version anandi calls ira as sasumaa). So the dubbing team faced very difficult situation what she should call sumi now ( now JaGan love story just started),,, and you know what they are showing now,,you cannot imagine

here ganga addresses sumi as sumitrajee...!!!

ha. but must say,as bv telugu is super hit in andhra pradesh,it is on no1 position from 4 years ,even it crossed jabardast a weekly comedy show which is very popular. because they have entire one day only for audio,that's why i got a feel that this version outshines bv in audio,wonderfull background scores and with very beautiful songs ,that's why though i knew the story i never miss to watch in my mother tongue,perticularly present track

But yes dubbing in other languages is really funny and difficult task as well as I see lot of hindi shows are being dubbed into tamil. Dialogues sometimes are so hilariously wrong as well😆. Sometimes they change the dialogue completely.

subah kakisa means chachi i.e kaki means ur aunt i.e.ur father's bro's wife.so in sum parts they call kaki & in sum chachi.
