This makes me wonder if death of Shiv was a sudden move taken by the CVs.
Yes, both times, she is left alone, first with bitter memories, and second time with beautiful and unbelievable memories that would tear her apart till she comes to terms with this tragedy. Her pain will subside over a period of time but shall never end. These memories will keep reminding her of her present loneliness.
Of course her life will positively change once her kids are born.

There's always hope. She will get back her Shiv in her kids, they will become center of her universe. Children will be Shiv's messengers for her. They shall add joy to her life every day and inspire her to move ahead.

That article did say that Anandi will be heart broken but will agree and eventually be happy with the twins.
So don't know when Amol's fate has been decided
Then also an article about 5 year leap has come If they want to take a five year leap they need to replace the boy playing Amol so they may have come up with the plan to give him back to his parents.
We really don't know whose decision it is to do away with the character.Whether it was precipitated by the actor's decision to quit the show or whether it was taken in view of moving the story forward by changing the direction of the story or whether it was the decision to go back to how the story was planned initially going along with the theme of the show kacchi umar ki pakki rishte

I think the main reason they couldn't carry the story forward is because the way they shaped Anandi's character post her marriage to Shiv
She became way too complacent and very content to be a wife and DIL and of course helping people who are in trouble .
We would expect a woman who had a broken marriage behind her that too for reasons like not being educated and not interesed in carving an identity for herself be more assertive and preserving a bit of her independence.
But they did not show her that way instead they just showed her basking in the love and care of her husband because that's what gave them TRPs.
In many social net working sites where they had pages dedicated to AnandiShiv story - ppl only wanted to see endless romance and nothing else
In this forum itself many ppl said that her professional life is not very convincing ahd the social work tracks are boring.
The reason for stagnation of the story is both the viewers and the channel.
Now it has come to a state they either shut down the show with a happy ending or take their chances and move the story forward without Shiv.
I think they took chance to move on without Shiv.
