when shekhars say anandi anandi tum theek to ho ? abhi anandi so rahi hai baad mein baat karenge it look like formality .when daddu said abhi anandi so rahi hai baad mein baat karenge but after that someone still woke up anandi and daddu cant do anything .I dont remember who woke up anandi and db start speaking bad of anandi .and daddu even cant say in strict voice no one will wake up anandi let her sleep it is my order

Why is expected that every member should think about Anandi's behaviour individually? 3 people have thought about it and want to do something for her (Ira, Daddu and Shiv). The other two (Alok and Meenu) are mute, because they don't know what to add.

Anandi was emabrassing at Gajra ceremony and she was careless for leaving gas knob open. For people who don't know she is being drugged, will take it at face value and will be angry.

But minus Anoop, Shekhars have not been angry. They are supportive of Anandi.What more should they do? Should they overlook the fact that Anandi was careless and hush up DB and Anoop for pointing out Anandi's flaws?

Modernism does not mean agreeing with the DIL's stupidity or carelessness. It is about being human to someone and trying to understand them, which is something Shekhars are doing very well.

And what has Anandi really done for Shekhars is something I still don't understand, that she should be given all due credit, love and respect by her in-laws without question.

- She goofed up SaJa badly

- Lied in court against Saanchi to favour J, by giving him a character certificate

- She runs to BH and J at the first opportunity, dumping her crippled child on her in-laws even when Ira was against the adoption. Yet they never doubt her, and always looks after Amol so well.

- She goofed up twice on Saanchi's rape: One , she could have easily informed Ira about Sa inviting a boy in their house in their absence. And two, she would have also told her about Sa sneaking out for the party. But she never did and Shekhars don't even know that A hid so much of info from them.

This is Anandi and her contribution for Shekhars. Compared to that Shekhars have given her all happiness and yet they get blamed for not being able to think why Anandi is sleeping in the middle of the day?

This is nothing about Urban / rural or Modern / traditional. It is simply about care and respect for DIL without being excessively interfering in her life. Shekhars are givinf her enough space without makign weird conclusions about Anandi's behaviour.

Otherwsie DSa is more selfish when it comes to A. She barely worries about A

Anandi's has two sets of Sasural for no fault of hers.

Just like her ex - husband will becomapred to her present husband her current parents in law Meenu and Anup Ira and Alok will be compared to Bhairon and Sumi.

If people put down Shekhars it is in comparison with Sumi and Bhairon who are much less educated and inhabited a world where DILs are treated badly because it is a tradition but went against the norms to trate their daughter in law as a daughter considered her as a daughter.

No matter what Alok and Anop will be compared with Bhairon.

The audience know what is happening in the show not the characters.

I will blame the cv's for butchering the characters in the name of drama. High time they bring this track to climax.

Good tracks like Rasika one end early without much thought process, while this DB track from which I can see full of holes is being stretch like anything.

I am not liking what they are doing to Shiv's character.

Comparing Alok-Ira to Sumi-Bhairon is not apple to apple comparison.

Sumi-Bhairon brough a little bride home and very well knew that they have to nurture her as one more daughter of theirs before she is capable of handling her ' beendni' responsibilties.

Alok-Ira brought a well-educated and matured DIL, who was capable of looking after her own interests and her grahisti.

Hence as in-laws, they give her the space and support she needs. They don't doubt her when she constantly runs into her ex. They stand up for her when needed. They praise her and respect her. They have not asked her to change her attire or ways to suit theirs. She has got all the liberty, that Bhairon-Sumi could never provide.

So what makes Bhairon-Sumi better than Ira-Alok?

BS have nearly 20 years worth of relationship with A, and IA, just about 2, so how is this comparision fair? How can the treatment of in-laws with a child be compared to a treatment In-laws would give to their adult DIL (who is also a mother of a child)

LOL Shekars are evil cause they failed to notice that Anandi took drugs? If it was DS , she would have started searching a girl for Shiv by now😆.

Agree with rohin, esha and puja's comments. Wish I had more time to write in detail about how nice the shekars were to Anandi right from the beginning(since AnSh engagement time).

Anandi convinced amol that DB has some bitter past and so her behaviour must be tolerated.

She never took DB's behaviour seriously.

Even when shiv wanted to reprimand DB, she used to stop him.

And she used to apologise to DB and feed her ego.

Ira and meenu never asserted and put DB in place. They never exerted their rights as senior bahus of the house.

Daddu should have been more forthcoming and made her leave the house. His brotherly love prevented it and now he was almost exposed to horrible death due to his sweet sister.

Alok and Anoop are hopeless when it comes to play a useful part.

Even shiv was half hearted in dealing with a hard nut like DB and he easily believed the changed DB.

DB took advantage of all the fools emotional and otherwise.

Where Shekhars doing Anandi a favour by letting their son their prized possession to marry Anandi?

Well for what ever reasons her sasural no1 has become her maika and her once upon a time parents in law became her parents. Why should she not help them and be there for them when they needed her?

Is she supposed to forget all her life and let go of all relations that she had before she entered their family?

It is so funny people can believe her love and care for Singhs but don't seem so convinced about her love for her son. Is her love for her son is so difficult to believe when one can believe her love for Dsa?

Well didn't she tell Sanchi that she is making a mistake by wanting to marry Jagya? Sheuld she have put her foot down and forced her to do otherwise?

When her parents did not pick up the drama that their daughter is doing they expect Anandi to pick up the drama? The same people are saying how well do Shekhars know Anandi to suspect her behaviour.

Well didn't she tell her husband about what Sanchi is doing with Saurabh? Why did he not say that he will handle it? Why did he agree to what his wife's strategy to handle Sanchi?

What would Ira have done knowing what her daughter is upto??Her ubringing is quite evident.She has given the freedom without teaching her the responsibilities that come with freedom.

As for education and modernity - Ira's sense of achievement comes from the fact that she is a mother of a son.It's a different matter that she has not given birth to a son.How progressive is that thinking?

Well about Anandi giving clean chit to her ex husband I don't even want to say anything it is how people want to interpret that.May be Anandi should have said how Sanchi is so sincere in her efforts to be a wife that J needs because it was the only goal Sanchi had in life.She should have kept quiet about how Sanchi would go on maa bapusa dadisa and all the sa sa in front of them and how she ridicules them behind their back,

All this because Shekhars have done a great favour to Anandi by giving her the privilege of becoming their DIL.
