Gehna has some genuine reason for not jumping to take Basant's place.

But DS has to force Gehna to go and work and manage nandu's studies too while she just expects bahus to do telmalish.

Why in Bv everything has to happen to forcefully if someone does not want to marry force him till he does not become this guilty i will be worlds biggest sinner if i won't agree now women working too forcefully

I thought DS was encouraging Gehna as she seems apprehensive. Already this was discussed and Gehna agreed too. Now the day has arrived and she is scared, that's why DS is doing this. I think its just initial fear.

I think DS was not forcing her,but encouraging her and giving strength. It was already discussed and decided, but suddenly I feel Gehna developed cold feet,like many do and hence was finding reasons. If DS is not firm now it will go on.

And I don't think even a bit of push is wrong. Gehna is now alone with two kids to look after and a long life ahead.DS is already old,agree Jagan will always be there for her and they will never leave her side. But DS has seen enough world and in such cases it is always good to be self dependant. You never know what can happen tomorrow. Plus Gehna has all the capabilities, its just that she has never done it hence she is apprehensive.

Anandi and Ganga also got that push in their life in the lowest phase and it sure helped them to shine out on their own. JMO.
