Didn't he assume that once he gets rid of Gauri he can straight walk into Anandi's waiting arms?That too after the way he treated her and the way he left her?

Gauri is a selfish woman and also spineless Selfish because she only thinks about i , me , myself never about others . Spineless because she does not have guts to look into herself and accept her failures , her misdeeds she will always blame others She always blamed Anandi she is the reason why she cannot have successful marriage with Jagya , neither Singhs accepts her . She never saw her own failures , her misdeeds , even now she was blaming Anandi and Jagya for her miserable life not herself so i agree with Subha probably when she came to know Jagya and Anandi are not together she immediately stopped blaming Jagya . forgave him and now showing so much desire for him and since she always thinks about i . me , myself she cannot think Jagya can move on too after all she his great lover was not showing any interest him and twice rejected him after their separation
