They can't take divorce because their marriage was illegal as Jagya was already married to Anandi when he married Gauri.

There are new laws now for women in live in relationships. Especially if there is child from that relationship then he/she can stake claim in property. In a recent case woman also got maintenance from the man.

This legal/illegal marriage matter for J and Gauri is not black and white. Let's just say if Gauri had wanted to go to court she would have a pretty strong case. There would be all sorts of things that would need to be considered.

no that child mrg bcame legal once jagya turned 21 & anandi 18 and they didn't dissolve it till 2 yrs.if jagya or anandi'd raised their voice against wid in 2 yrs. of attaining adulthood then gauri-jagya mrg wud'd been legal but jagya mrd gauri wen he was 24-25 so gauri jagya mrg was /is illegal & wen anandi divorced jagya gauri was preparing 4 legal mrg wid fanfare which didn't happen. so no case of divoce.
