What happened to Mahi and Ashima?

Hi everyone,

I used to watch BV regularly a few months ago but catch it only once in a while nowadays.

But I was wondering - they never went back to take up the Mahi-Ashima love story, did they? I liked Mahi's character - gentle, fun loving, family minded and supportive but still independent, had his own life etc. Although he was always in Shiv's shadow, he was very good natured about it it.

I was also intrigued by Ashima's character. She was in love with Shiv but she was genuinely attracted to Mahi. Ashima left and broke contact with Mahi and he was heartbroken for a while. I was following their love story with interest.

As far as I know they never picked up that thread, am I right? In fact, Mahi hasn't even been on screen for a while? Have the creatives decided to ease out the character?

Gauri appears to be back, but I would like it if they tracked the 'Mahima' story also.

Anybody agree?

Really?! He was in that serial, Chand chupa badal mein but was sidelined there after a while. But the track has some potential, I feel.

They will also come once Shekhar parivar needs drama. Dadi Bua track se woh hi accha hota.

Yeah, that's true - they need to rotate the drama between the houses 😆😆😆

Ashima will never agree to have a tie or relationship with Mahi as she is in love with shiv. but they can always bring back Mahi as army officer to pair Rakhee. there seems to be like that then only Sachi will realise how embarassing it will be to make proposal for her sister in law to her family.Now a days sachi is paying for the games she did against Ganga with Sumitra. here the difference is she's facing bit more to it.

I don't know about occasional viewers BV but one probable reason is that regular viewers of BV did not show interest in that story and we don't know for sure whether the actor playing Mahi will come back or not and I think that actress playing Ashima is busy with some other show.

Neither the actors are available nor the regular BV watchers are interested in their story.
