This track has produced some great acting. Anandi's deliberate needling of Brajesh S was superb. Whether or not it leads to anything, it was fun to watch her get under his skin. She got it out of him that he was divorced.

Shiv's phone con with Ram singh was very good. The way Shiv changed his expressions and after a pause hesitantly asked him for help -- in an almost beseeching tone -- was a treat to watch. We may not like it but Shiv's transition from proud officer to defeated man with loss of all powers and complete change in gait etc has been quite good. Very understated but effective. Would have been better if he didn't look a bit guilty.

Actors playing rasika and brajesh are terrific finds. Brajesh as the irritated officer bristling at Anandi was worth watching. You could hear him gnashing his teeth.

Rasika has been great from the beginning.

Leaving aside the bloopers etc of the track it has made for great viewing because of the acting.

Nice change from some unwatchable recent spells. Talking of which Kabra is tons better as a lawyer than as life partner. He can pull off the shouting but not the romance.

Very true. This track is running on the performances of the actors involved and some well conceptualised scenes.Writers haven't been able to come up with a good story.

And i forgot to add that lovely scene with Amol. He was adorable the way he kept looking at his papa. Anandi kept looking from Amol to Shiv and back. And Shiv's expression changed slowly from depressed and dour to smiling and indulgent towards Amol. V nicely done.

@spuja that is why I added the caveat, notwithstanding the bloopers. If only Shiv would shed his slightly 'guilty' look, he would be perfect.

Ansh actors have come a long way.

Very good post and absolutely agree with you Rohini. The actors playing Anandi, Shiv, Rasika, Brijesh and even the Shekhars have done very well in this track. It is these actors that made this track so interesting to watch despite logical shortcomings.
Unlike Sanchi, I thoroughly enjoyed watching Rasika's antics especially in the court room, she could create an atmosphere that forced the viewers to believe that she has managed to gain the sympathy of people in the courtroom.
Anandi was fantastic as a calm, composed and a little pleading, little persuasive woman when talking to Brijesh. Given different circumstances, it would have been impossible for Brijesh to resist a woman like her. She looked very beautiful in that scene.
I think by projecting this slightly guilty look for Shiv, director intends to win viewer's sympathy for him as he has been literally taken for a ride 😊. On a serious note, Shiv is deeply shocked at such an ugly turn of events, his staff, colleagues have turned against him, are having fun at his cost, his entire life has turned upside down. All this has come out very well. so kudos to the actor.

Very true. It was heart breaking to watch the honest, conscientious Shiv hurting and shrink into himself because he had been left alone to fight by his staff and fraternity. The way he thanked Ram Singh was so sad. And one could see that even in this down and out state he was a stickler for rules: he hesitated before asking Ram Singh for help.

And Brajesh made me feel he was real. He has managed to bring in kameenapan and debauchery to his character without overacting.

What is unbelievable is an IAS officer going this far. A lot of them are corrupt but murder seems a bit excessive. But that is writing which is a diff department.

Agree with all of your posts..
I feel, there's a reason, they are showing Shiv guilty..
Somewhere in his heart, he still feels, he is responsible, though indirectly for an innocents death., for an old couple to lose their only son.
That would be the main thing that would be eating him away from inside, more than anything.,
He would have been portrayed as a no nonsense guy, when it was required, but we cannot deny the fact that he is also an extremely emotional person. None of anybody's words, including his wife's, are able to make an impact to reconcile himself completely.
H/ever, I could find marked change in his expressions in the last episode, when the Lawyer has raised a point that the case can be of a murder too., with a third person involved...
I feel., he is slowly going back to his thinking mode., seeing another angle to it, which he would have never imagined.
It would have been better if CV's have showed a one to one convo between the Lawyer and himself / AnSh ., with the lawyer coming up with his reasons for suspecting a foul play.
This would have helped him a lot to ease up a little on feeling the guilt.
But then if CV's want to show us depressed , guilty and down in the dumps Shiv for some more time., we hardly have any choice...do we 😆

There are bloopers in this track & these bloopers may be irritating but they don't really take away so much from the story they want to tell.
Thye wanted to tell a story of how a man like Shiv also can fall at times
How a strong man like Shiv will gather himself and fights back
How a spouse can be a pillar of support to her partner
How the family gathers around and protects their son and tackles all taunts and barbs from the society
More importantly how thye fight back by staying within the legal permits
This is what I guess they wanted to convey through this track and thye are doing well that way.

Lovely post. Agree. He is weighed down by guilt because of Narendra's death. And truly, how can the lawyer not discuss his plan of action with his client? Shiv shouldn't have been looking surprised at the mention of tea boy and kerosene being bought by a 3rd person.
