To be fair, Singhs and Jagya are Anandi's weakness, she cannot come out of beendni come daughter mode. But Rasika is not Shiv's weakness - still he behaved like a fool. Where was the need to closely inspect those torture marks on her back. He should have called police and all drama could have come out in open. Since he did not do anything except consoling her, Rasika got bold and put him in embarrassing situation.

Of course consequences and the person's state of mind differs. He wasn't a fool, but confused, since he's never been used to handle female employees. He has seen Anandi , Ganga and also recently his own sister who was raped. So, he was just compassionate towards Rasika. Like Anandi, even Shiv's compassionate behavior is his weakness. Can't blame on that aspect, coz that was the main reason he bonded with anandi, in the first place.

During his stay in London he may have come across a lot of women who would have been quite different from Anandi/Ganga/Sanchi. It is not that he was brought up in an all male environment. Everything about Rasika was screaming fake - but he could not see it (creatives failed here big time).

Just to show anandi fighting for her husband they made shiv a fool in this drama. Most of the time to highlight anandi role they made shekhars dumb and fools.

Yes, he might have come across many women say for example Ashima, who were different in London.
But that was in another country, as you said. After he landed here, most of the women who he met were suffering souls, which could have definitely made an everlasting impression in him about the married women in general in India.

The thing is that he cannot be blamed for neither his compassion nor ignorance on Rasika's evil intentions, Creatives have a habit of butchering others to highlight certain characters in several tracks. Jagya was butchered during AnSh Pre wedding times, and Shiv was butchered during Sanchi and Jagya wedding and court drama, Similarly Shiv has been shown ignorant and imprudent in this track for a big drama to unfold. He was ignorant in Rasika's case, but he woke up when he was supposed to. He didn't let her cross her limits once he understood her evilness...

When rasika shouted chipkali, shiv should have called the peon to search for that chipkali and ship it out. and he should have called pest control.

I think sachi will stand for her brother along with anandi against Kabra. Because there seems to be a short seperation between sachi&vivek. Vivek may take up Rasika's case under wrong judgement that shiv might have misbehaved.

well, I didn't found the scene vulgar or embarrassing.. It had right contents for 8 pm slot. The direction and few dialogues could have been better but they weren't that bad.
Regarding Shiv's judgment about women - He must have come across women friends during his college days and in London. Even many ladies much have tried to woo him during his college days😆 But there is a difference between a collector's situation and other non work related situations. He is probably coming across such a situation in his work life for the first time, considering that he was posted in small districts earlier. So he might not have thought in his wildest dreams that his subordinate can behave like this.

My point was - Shiv may not have had a female PA so far, but Rasika's dress, behaviour was like a cheap/seducing woman right from start. How could Shiv missed those signals? He has seen tortured women - did any one of them was so open, almost dramatic and with suggestive clothes and gestures? Why did he forget her behaviour in car? Or her deliberate attempt to get close to him?
They could have shown PA as normal office girl and then suddenly her trying to get attention with sad story and then changed behaviour - it would have looked more real and believable.

I concur that her dressing style, behavior should've given a caution to him, but sometimes even the smartest of human beings fall prey to cunningness and plotting. Right from epics like Mahabharat and Ramayan can show umpteen examples on that. And even intellectuals have been fooled due to some misinterpretations.. Shiv as an intellectual was smart enough to find out Heth Singh's plot since anandi had warned him beforehand. But in Rasika's case he couldn't guess what was happening around him. And when he consulted Anandi, the best suggestion she could give was to be considerate with her...
Shiv can also be fooled since he's also a human..
