I don't think they are spoiling Shiv's character...we still don't know the everything about Shiv...he compared to others is new in BV...did we knew how deep his relation was with his sister...no...now we know how he behaves when his sister or family is involved...CVs are not spoiling Shiv's character but just introducing a new unreasonable side of mature collector...look at Anandi...the way she behaves when it comes to social work and the way she behaves when it comes to her own family...she gives 10 feet lectures on self-respect and raising voice against injustice but she seldom applies it on herself...same with Shiv...he may say very practical things to others but finds it difficult to walk on them himself...this track is now showing us different faces of Shekhar family...i am not defending Shiv...it's behavior is absolutely wrong and biased but maybe that's how he is when it comes to his own family

He is upset with all that has happened in his sister's life.

He knew that his sister is a spoilt brat and is very immature and selfish.

Then she fell for someone who was considered to be totally unsuitable for her.He tried to explaining to her that the man is not suitable for her.

So despite having doubts about the viability of the relationship he reconciled himself and accepted that relationship because despite knowing all the past about the man her sister wanted to marry he believed him to be a changed man.He thought the man will bring some stability in his sister's life when he saw his sister trying to change her self to fit into the man's life.

He had doubts when the man in question disappeared at the time of engagement so he asked the man whether he is sure of what he is doing and whether he is happy with his sister or not.When the man assured him he knew what he was doing he believed the man.

Then all of sudden just a few days before the wedding his sister's fiance walks into his home and calls off the marriage citing incompatibility as the reason.He did not see that as a reson to call off the wedding because he has seen his sister changing.

And he brought out the man's past because this is how he broke off with his first wife saying their lives have become too different.

When he got to know that his sister's views on her fiance's family was the reason why the wedding was called off he wanted to go and meet her fiance's family and apologise on her behalf and ask him to reconsider the decision.

But he was met with a sight where his sister's fiance married a girl who he has fallen in love with and declared her love for ehr.He even said that he never loved his fiance.It was a good enough reason for him to believe that Jagya has broken off with his sister just because he was in love with another woman.In his mind Jagya has handled the issue exactly the same way he handled Anandi and Gauri issue.He was angry at Jagya at that time for the way he hurt Anandi and now he is angry with Jagya for what he believes he has done to his sister.

Once they came back his mother did not make things easy for him either.She blames Anandi for all this mess.

Anandi finally told what she knew and believed about Sanchi and he was angry with her for telling this so late.Because he thinks if she had told all this before they could have broken off the alliance much before and saved themselves from being humilated and also believes that Sanchi's madness would not have reached to this level if the rishta is broken off before.

He is right in his POV.

He was angry with Jagya for the way he has hurt Anandi and now he is angry because he believes Jagya hurt his sister just like the way he hurt Anandi.So there is definitely no butchering of his character there.He is still the same man.

But yes he is totally blind to his sister's shortcomings and he has been this way right from the begining not just now.If he has any flaw then it is this inability to see his sister in her true colours.

Him being angry with his wife is quite understandable because she delayed in telling him things and if he feels upset that she is supporting Jagya that's also understandable because he is feeling betrayed by her.

But him accusing his wife of wanting to watch tamasha is not acceptable and keeping quite when his mother hurls accusations one after the other at his wife is unacceptable.

Shiv is not that powerful to call the shots when Ira and sanchi bunch together. Last time when he did Ira sulked and even went to her maika. So shiv could not have averted the crisis as Jagya's act made it impossible even for himself to understand things. He gave opportunity to Jagya about how he felt.

Somehow shiv feels that Jagya has ditched his sister and anandi is wrong in supporting Jagya. Hinding is an excuse for him to vent some more anger on anandi.

As for anandi not telling UD thing to Ira, shiv has asked her not to do it and he himself will reveal.

Because - she did not want this underhand reprehensible thing to come back and hurt her later. So she told Shiv and also said - we shud tell your family now - lest they find out from another source later and accuse my family rightfully - for hooking you on false pretexts.

Anandi shared coz she wanted to pre-empt a disaster in the future. Shiv heard, decided he was okay with the deceit and chose to not tell his family. AND - WHEN IN FACT UD DID COME AND MAKE A SCENE - SHIV CAME TO A'S DEFENCE AND STATED HE KNEW IT ALL.

Anandi was right in sharing at that time.

Similarily - Anandi shud have shared her doubts about Jagya-Ganga and Sanchi-pandit and J's lack of interest etc with Shiv - while there was time for Shiv to act on it and things were okay. Had she shared - Shiv could have had a detailed chat with Jagya, Shiv could have talekd to Sanchi about her unhderhand bribe to pandit and Shiv could have delayed the wedding date and given them both more time to think and come back to the table.

Shiv would have been in a better position to tell his family - all was not well and they need to hold on and wait n watch.

But by not sharing - Anandi denied Shiv the time to nip this disaster in the bud.

This is why Shiv is angry.

this is the reason why shiv can't jump to her defense unlike the UD incident...he is cold to anandi but is also equally hurt & feeling betrayed .

Both shiv and anandi are not short distance runners but long distance or marathon runners.

No one or no circumstance can come between them. Chote mote toofan har relation mein aate hain aur jaate bhi hain.

I always held this couple as ideal. They perfectly compliment the other.

These days I just love Sid-I mean Shiv... now he is he himself...what he does in these days is not really a acting...there are much more his true feelings towards Tanandi and that's so good...
