- Jagya should have refused to obey Sumitra and DS blindly whenever they ordered him to send gifts to Anandi or visit her. At that time he could have made it clear that he felt inappropriate going there. His visits and interaction got that lalli Sanchi more intrigued about him.
He should have only maintained basic courtesy with Shekhars and kept it formal. There was no need to agree when Sanchi asked him to help in her projects or insisted that he allow her to take him sight seeing around Udaipur. He kept in his limits. But he should have sensed that the girl was not so. He should have instantly distanced and detached himself.
- When proposal for marriage came, he should have refused them politely saying he had just about begun to rebuild his life and was not in a state to consider another relationship yet. Or he could have simply said that he considered Sanchi as a sister! Jaise woh Shiv ki behen hai waise meri bhi behan ke samaan hai! That would have ended it there and then!
There was no need to yield to pressure of Sumitra and DS or look into Anandi's eyes for an answer.
- Even later when he felt uncomfortable with Sanchi, he should have conveyed and discussed his doubts with Bhairon instead of asking Anandi, whether whatever that was happening was right or not. Bhairon would have helped him and intervened (he's not crazy like Sumitra or DS nor attached like Shekhars).
Simply avoiding Sanchi or meeting her upon being forced by others and then feeling suffocated was not the answer.
- Ideally I wish he had used Sanchi's trust (as she feigns) to devise a plan and expose her true colours to both families and herself.
- He should have conveyed to Shiv that he was being pressurised for it, when Shiv had asked him what he wanted. Or given an answer that indirectly showed that he was not into it but wasn't a no or yes. (Hopefully Shiv being a wise guy would have got a signal of what was going on).
- The conversation that he had with Anandi at the coffee shop, he should have had that much earlier! So that he should have known that Anandi is helpless, she had no hand in bringing Sanchi's proposal for him.
- At the restaurant, he should have recorded Sanchi's tamasha in his mobile and showed it to Shekhars. I know it is too jasoos like. But when nobody believes or trusts you much and you know what a manipulative person you're dealing with, then it is better to keep evidence to support your case!
- It was better to have told truth to Shekhars instead of hiding it. Shekhars had already felt attacked and hurt due to break up. Phir chup rehne se kya faayda?
- Jagya may not have been able to stop at his house. But he should have told the truth to family on phone - especially Bhairon who was ever eager to lend an ear to him and support him. He did not tell family anything till now this is why he gets no support even when he is right.
- When he was coming back to Jetsar and planned to go to hospital, shouldn't he have checked with LS, about ongoings there? Wasn't he himself aware of some function organised there? If he had been careful, it would not have been a shock for him and Singhs to see each other!
- Why did he bring Ganga to hospital? Why not straight away take her to her room in hospital quarters? Phir bhi drama tal jaata.
- Even when he did enter with Ganga, he should have sent Ganga and co. away first and talked to Sumitra instead of going himself also. That enraged Sumitra more and she chased him and did this drama.
- Jagya was bold enough to put sindoor on Ganga's maang. Why did he not cut Sumitra's talk and asked her to first listen to him and let him explain?
Last but not the least, Jagya should have checked with a lawyer beforehand, even as his family was considering his remarriage, just as a precautionary measure to ensure there would be no trouble due to his past and live in relationship with Gauri. Taking lessons from his past, his first priority should be to check all legal taam jhaam to avoid any trouble.
I know he did not plan to marry Ganga and it happened because of Sumitra's drama. But there were things that he could have taken care of...so that problems did not escalate to this level with both he and Ganga so insulted and misunderstood.
