RESPECT !

This one is very very sensible n contemporary topic , none of us should waste food you're totally right about that . Nor we should let our family members do that .

Not only human beings , but you can feed your left over foods to animals too . like Stray dogs n cats . Plz give it a thought .

We should all encourage our families to not cook more than necessary amount .

But , I read in TOI recently that a huge amount of food grains each year get wasted in our country due to lack of cold storage .

Can we not do anything about it ?

I am not an atheist !But in some religious rituals people waste nutritious food like Ghee--Honey--Milk and Curds ...instead of wasting it ...they put the idol in a clean vessel and then offer it as prasadam-- or feed the poor!! This is not the time to have blind faith..---logical thinking will make us to take good decisions.

To the TM ,thanks for the beautiful thread and wonderful topic.In the country where I reside now there is ample of food which is wasted every day and the food that is wasted in one day can feed the whole world.My grandma used to say if you waste food in this life,you will not have food in the next life.There is a saying in my language ,koodu kosam koti vidayalu,that means for food we have to learn one crore things.I hope I got the saying right.Thanks for the thread to bring awareness to the people around the world.

good manu true it is lot of food is wasted in india and many are left unfed but goverment is giving so much to poor ppl that now i have seen they ar more happy but beside food now problem is of habilation ,,, ikg rice 1 rs and 2rs wheat they geyt but home is problem so this is to be solved and is difficlut one 👏
