Hello friends
this topic is not related to BV or any other serial
but please read the post once & comment please

in Indian culture
food is called Purnabramha
Purnabramha means God

but in the world today there is a large amount of food wastage
there is a plenty of food wastage in weddings ,parties & restaurants.
there are too many children in the country ,
they work hard but still they don't get good & enough food
about 7 million children died in 2012 because of hunger...😭.😭
on the other hand we do wastage of food

there are so many things we can do in our daily routine
make it habit not to waste any food
don't cook food in large quantities ,eat fruit if needed
buy & cook food as much you require
if you host a family get together either at home ,a marriage hall or throw a party at a hotel " make sure you plan for the food to be transported to a place like an Orphanage / Old age shelter
There is no better thing than sharing your happiness with these people as well
Your mother may have said a lot of times not to waste food ,Please do follow this now

i request you all that don't waste food
make as much food as necessary

throwing food means disrespect of God
Please don't do this

Very admirable topic you have taken upšŸ‘. Indeed, there is immense wastage of food and so much disparity between hunger and waste! There should be a way of channelizing excess food to the poor!

Very good topic : food for thought! In Indian culture there are so many rituals involving people ; and food distribution.--Wide display of food items ...considers as a status symbol!!! Ignoring the importance of sharing... the festive feasts... resembles an eating spree...wastage display!!! ANNAM PARABRAHMA SWARUPAM--- food is a form of Brahmam--Absolute God!! Food as the personification of the Divine...supreme god! By respecting it ... by saving it we preserve the essence of god---protecting the future generation's basic needs!

Beautiful thread ManušŸ‘šŸ‘šŸ‘, it is really nice that you want to increase awareness of people about problem that is present nowadays in India, and all around the world as well.

The bold fact you posted there is really disturbing and alarming, and should make everyone to think about it, and to try to change something in their daily habits. You were right in everything that you wrote, you bring up some good points to think about, and you offer some good solutions to deal with the problem you were addressing.

Food was always very important in all cultures and in all periods of time. Families were always gathered around the table. In my country, Serbia, family celebrations lasts for a days, and a great amounts of food would be always prepared for everyone to enjoy. But all that changed a little, I noticed. People take care more to prepare fresh food in smaller quantities, not to have waste, they are trying not to throw the food away.

Manu, excellent post.šŸ‘

Everyone should therefore in their own way and as far as possible, to contribute to this topic.

My people have a special cult of the bread and it is considered a sin to throw it.
The term bread bind different concepts, such as kindness, diligence and other, as shown by the following proverbs, which are among my people, "Good as bread", "No bread, without hoe." We believe that the bread is the body of God, and the bread has an important role in the liturgy.

Food needs to be reserved ...and not wasted..! We have every right to eat whatever we want ... but we have no right to waste a speck of it . I never allowed my children to waste food...at any cost!!! we have to educate the future generation ...and make them realise the gravity of the situation .
