I think ira's decision was rash and she didnt inform her own family because she's knows its not the right protocol. They are just engaged and the arrangement is that of an arranged marriage and not a love marriage so stopping over at each others houses is just wrong. Normally people tread care with such rishtas as a little things can break them. Had he stayed in a hotel and just visited I think it would have been more appropriate.
