I don't see anything wrong in it. He is fully ready to marry saanchi after he comes back. Infact, today when she suggested shopping and inviting friends etc. he actually smiled and was very positive towards her, and said, "as soon as I come back from Mangalore."

I think Jagya will leave without telling anyone

This is what the old Jagya will do.

But now the new Jagya has some ethics and a strong sense of right and wrong, I don't think he would be this irresponsible. But you may be right. If he feels it is overwhelming to argue with everyone, he might just think of doing what he wants and then coming and clarifying it later.
