After a long time we got to see an episode in which story really moved. I am happy to see Jagya confronting his mother and making it clear to her that he will help Ganga and after completing her studies she will work in his hospital only! 👏
All these years it is rare to see Jagya taking charge of his life and making decisions that come from his own heart and aren't a result of influence from surroundings, friends, relatives, lovers etc.
Sumitra has been treating him like a baby and being too dictatorial and over protective since he came back from Mumbai. While her possessiveness is understandable since she's been separated from him for long and has often been on verge of losing him forever, still it doesn't mean her behaviour can be condoned.
She needs to be tackled and not blindly obeyed.
I loved Surekha ji's expressions in this episode! The way she was delighted on seeing Ganga and the way her eyes swelled in pride when she learnt that Ganga saved Gehna and conducted her delivery. Then she made her gaze slightly stern and raised her neck when she looked at Sumitra.
Her expressions and body language speak so much! Dialogues aren't needed! She's amazing! 👏
It's great that Basant stepped in to check Sumitra and told her the truth about Ganga.
Sumitra's character has been butchered badly. Since when did she start using words like shagun-Apshagun? 😲 Why so heartless towards a toddler? Poor Mannu loked at her lovingly and if I am not mistaken he called her kakisa. Wasn't that adorable and touching? But she continued to breathe fire!
And doesn't she have sense to not to shout in a hospital?! It's not your haveli damn it! 😡
Jagya's questions to her were right. If Ganga saves them then that is not shagun? But if Ratan comes to attack that is apshagun and all due to Ganga?
Ganga is a paraayi ladki for Sumitra. But wasn't Sanchi a paraayi ladki too? Whose words Sumitra kept listening to even before marriage was fixed? And she has done nothing for family but Sumitra listens to her! While Ganga can even bleed for Singhs but that is not enough for Sumitra! And is she the same woman who chose to favour Anandi over her own son? What is the paraayio ladki BS?
They've helped Asha, Phooli, Gulli and also suffered threats from their tormentors. But they never used "paraayi ladki" BS for them! Why behave so selfish now?
It is good that DS wanted to counsel Sumitra herself. But what has happened to Bhairon? He is otherwise so wise. How come he only gets angry and goes about to scold Sumitra? Why doesn't he realise he needs to take a calmer approach towards her?
Why is DS' cleverness not working now? I mean why doesn't she realise that Sanchi is not the right girl for their family and that Sumitra's behaviour is unlike herself and it may be a result of someone poisoning her ears?
Tanandi was bearable in precap. She looks suitable only in such scenes. But her dialogue delivery needs work. She speaks without taking a pause!
I wonder why Jagya doesn't put his foot down in case of Sanchi also! Plus he is not ready for marriage again as of now so why become a bali ka bakra and rush into third marriage? No need to worry for Anandi. Shiv is there for her na!
