Jagya is angry and disappointed.

Was he unduly rude to his mother? I think no. He was angry even with dadisa, basant etc. and he slowly realised Sumitra's part. Sumitra made matters worse by defending her stance. She experienced Jagya's behaviour when he was madly in love with Gauri. At that time he did not listen to anybody.

Sumitra made even the unflappable Bhairon angry. Bhairon explained to Sumitra and asked her to understand. He does not know that ratan was only a bahana for sumitra to wish ganga out of the haveli. Bhairon showed what a great actor he is. He just looked at Sumitra with that searing intensity.

It was filmy scene, ganga soaked in the rain and Jagya following. But it looked good.
Hope all of them wont catch cold.

When Jagya gets angry, none can stop him. He is one angry young man.

Jagya is hot headed , impatient but has his own mind .

He is the same in his retribution , except that the criteria for his reactions has changed . Formerly he was selfish now he is unselfish ...but his temperement is the same ...uncontrollable .

Sumitra's condition is like Kaikeyi ...she lost Bharat and Dasharath both . Sumitra too has fallen from the grace of Bhairon and Jagya both

This is just the beginning . The alliance with Saanchi will totally alienate Sumitra from her familty members .

It has happened with Dadisa . Dadisa gave in ultimately to her complaints as she was the senior bahu but made it clear that this was NOT her wish and that she was disappointed in Sumitra .

Bhairon is disgusted with her .

Jagya is angry with her .

Basant and Gehna will speak to her but clearly have different opinions .

Now even the rift between her and Anandi will occur , she has played right into Saanchi's hands .

She has finally succeded in delivering a cold , hard and realistic message to Ganga but she stands alone today .

The bahu she feels will give her joy has given her this loneliness before coming in the house .

Saanchi will now drive a rift between Anandi and her and that will really change the whole equation in the house ...she will lose Jagya completely .

I am surprised sumitra gives more weightage to sanchi's words than her own husband Bhairon's.

She does not even care for Jagya's feelings. She thinks she can fix things for him with sanchi's help. She deliberately ignored anandi's silent support for ganga. Sumitra also gagged dadisa and gehna. She is thinking that everyone is in her mutti now.

Nobody is in her mutti , rather , she is in Saanchi;s mutti .

She ignored Anandi coz as a woman she sensed where this Ganga thing would lead to and she was selfish for once ...she was tempted by the thought of a virgin , well settled . rich bahu for her son than an abused , hardly educated , raped mother of one child woman living on their charity who she felt was fit to be their servant woman .

She hated the proximity between her and Jagya and she hated it when Dadisa equated her with Anandi .

She listened to Saanchi coz their basic fears were same and their antennae as women were up .

What they both don't know is till now it was all sympathy , their behaviour will push Jagya more towards Ganga and it will become more than sympathy , Jagya will marry her when gossip will start and Bhairon will support him . Till now gossip was not there as she was living with all family members but it will start when she will live alone and he wil continue to help her .

More than Sanchi's words it was her feelings against Ganga that made her act the way she did.

If she did not have negative feelings towards Ganga Sanchi's words would not have worked on her.

I think Sanchi has caught on early enough that Sumi did not like Ganga and she went on to work on her fears.

Sanchi has tried this on J and DS too but it did not work because they thought differently about Ganga.

While Sumi's fears regarding the safety of her family had a rationale behind it her other fears that Ganga is out to usurp Anandi's place in her heart, life and home are a bit too much.Sanchi had acted on those fears of Sumi.

Jagya getting angry with his mother is understandable he is young and may not understand what his mother is going through.But what about Bhairon and DS?Shouldn't they have tried to understand Sumi?

Wish either Bhairon or DS sat down and talked with her or heard her out.

She has nobody except her family and all she did it in the interest of her family and now she is isolated by her own family.

DS and BS should have explained to her just because they thought G2 is A2 that doesn't mean A is going to be forgotten or A's place will be given to G2.They should have told her that G2 despite her similarities with A is not A she is Ganga.There is a place for Anandi and there is a place for Ganga in their hearts.

Sumitra is at an age where she should be able to understand and see things in perspective.
Bhairon already gave her his piece of mind and also explained why when Sumitra broached this subject.
dadisa indirectly did it many times.

But Sumitra is determined that she wont listen to anybody this time but only listen to sanchi.

Even if they compared ganga to anandi, what is wrong with it? For sumitra to get so hyper over it.
She has become a sort of Ira.

It is not that they did not understand Sumi ...they did . See how pleasantly they understood her fears as natural and tried to explain the humanity angle to her .

But she became more and more hardened till she was a shadow of her former self ...so much so that she started behaving nastily to that toddler Mannu .

They simply clammed up and withdrew then . But with Jagya there will be major confrontations coz Saanchi and Sumitra's battle will be with Mannu's innocence which no politics in the world will be successful in wiping out from his heart . The child is in his heart now and regarding him he won't accept any argument . Not from his mother , not from his fiancee . It is Mannu who will be the link between Jagya and Ganga . Both Saanchi and Sumitra r fighting a losing battle , they may with their politics suceed in driving Ganga away , but what about little Mannu who rules Jagya's heart now ? Which politics in the world will convince him that Mannu is bad ?😆

Sumitra's isolation is actually courtesy Sumitra. She is a grown woman who still had a choice. Saanchi didn't hold a gun to her head and told her to behave badly with Ganga. She deduced whatever she wanted from Saanchi's whisperings and she chose to be insecure.
