Some of the opinions here just make no sense.

So Ratan is Ganga's unwanted husband - who she did not choose. Her aunt chose this rishta to get rid of the unwanted orphan niece. And Ganga has suffered all these years in that house like a slave. Getting beaten, burnt, raped, and had a baby who she has seen was kept hungry n crying coz she was made to finish her work before she cud attend the the baby.

She has heard only abuses from that entire household and she has seen her kid too get abused and called names when Ratan's new wife was expecting. Ganga has HEARD that Rat planned to kill her once his son was born.

After all this - that poor thing has planned time n again to make an escape and just run for her life. She has never had the luxury to first plan and fund a bank account and a fix a safe place with adequate security that she could safely go to.

And then - when she thought she could run away - she just ran. And for all her efforts got almost killed when Rat caught up with her. She has SEEN her son abused.
How can a mother give up her child ??

That is not possible. It is not human to do so. You do not let a murderer have your kid so you can live. She'd rather die than allow that. If those of you who think she shud just give Mannu up - were real mothers - you would not think so.
----------------------------
Now to why DS is helping Ganga. Dadisa too was a helpless woman who had no family n friends she cud turn to for help and she had not one but two small kids to take care off. She too had run off in the middle of the night from her molester Brother-in-law and escaped and brought up her kids.

Dadisa sees her own strength and spirit and her own situation in Ganga. That is why Dadisa has always been so fond and so protective of her. Anandi was just a child bride with an indomitable spirit. But Ganga has the spirit and the desperation n the danger. Dadisa can see why Ganga needs to be saved and Dadisa is thinking about all their safety. If they could just convince she's not here - Rat might leave them alone and go off to look elsewhere and in the mean time they cud call for help. That's her plan.

Cowards hand over the helpless to the butchers. Not the brave. And Dadisa is brave and has raised brave sons.

Why should Ganga surrender herself and her son to Rat ?What wrong has she done to deserve that?

Her main in life was to get away from Rat and make a better life for her son and make him the kind of man his father can never be.

She has no where else to go and Singhs took her in and wanted to help her for their own reasons. They very well knew what they are getting into when they gave shelter to Ganga.

Ganga did make things complicated for herself by falling for the ladesar and things became difficult because Sumi for some reasons best known only to her she took a dislike to her.If Ganga had been on her own with no child to take care of she would have left.

She is responsible for the safety of her son.Her responsibility as a mother outweighs every thing else. She had to stay on there till she could find a place to go.

It would be very wrong of Singhs if they hand her over to Rat under pressure and it will be like going back on their promise.

It was DS who decided to hide her DS taken the responsibility of her safety.DS very well knew what she was doing. So how does that become Ganga's fault?
If Ganga decided to brave it and go and confront Rat will he leave the Singhs alone?
If Ganga confronts Rat will he let her keep her son?

Ganga is not just fighting for her life she is FIGHTING for a better life for her son.She is not being selfish she is being a mother.

If there is anyone who did anything wrong it was the Singhs not because they wanted to protect Ganga but because they did not do proper planning.

Any way if Ganga surrenders it defeats all the purpose and that surrender will make mockery of all the things that Singhs have done in trying to shield her from Rat.

@1st red bold especially ' You do not let a murderer have your kid so you can live'... What sense does this make ??😲

Who is letting the "murderer" "butcher" have the kid? you are talking as if he wanted to kill the child ...

He is the father. He is not going to kill his child. He may kill the whole world but hot his son. And if Ganga thinks she would rather die than give her son, then she better do that in stead of putting others in trouble.

Ok, some people think what she did was right. ... running away with the child was right!! ,, Even at one time, I thought the same and sympathised with her... but that was the most foolish decision she took.

In fact Jagya had told her 'people like Ratan are cowards, you fight him instead of running away'. He had also offered to help her. But at that time, she did all her nakhras, she did not take his mobile no. She was acting as if she knew the best and running away was the only solution to her problem.

Did she ever think of asking for support from the police or the sarpanch or the court or anyone else? NO... Jagya was ready to help her even then. But she acted like a coward. each time she ran away.

How could someone even step into that trunk to hide when the life of five members of the family was at stake?

Oh yeah ! dadisa was brave indeed to see her pregnant DIL tied to the pillar and a sword placed on her grandson's chest!! We all must salute her for her bravery. 🤪

@Shinya -
Be as sarcastic as you please. Its no skin off my nose.
If you can't see that Ratan is a butcher and has murderous tendencies after the way he tried to kill her when she escaped and after he told that male nurse in the hospi to poison her - THEN - I'm afraid you and I are watching two different serials with amazingly parallel story lines. He had taken Mannu away and wud curse the kid when he was hungry for his night feed. Is that the kind of person you call a loving dad ?

The CV's will show the Good and the Courageous win over the Cowardly n the morally bankrupt.

Just wait n watch - eventually when Ratan is caught and Ganga is resettled - Sumitra will come and apologise to Ganga for thinking her a threat. I don't have to argue this point - the serial will show it all.

@bold - Well said Shinya. I would say a person is brave if s/he sacrifices his/her own life for others for good reasons...not when they are sacrificing others life for another person. Here she is sacrificing Gehna's(and her baby's life) and Makhaan's life for Ganga. She has NO RIGHT to do that.

Ican't call Rat a loving dad, or even a dad though. But yes he will certainly not kill mannu. Once J or others know of this they will anyways go and get mannu back. So in this situation , before Rat kills Gehna something has to happen.

Yes surabhi, i read that mobile part in the update. I was talking about her bravery part where she was appreciated for sacrificing her family to save the victim Ganga. She can sacrifice her life...not her DIL's , her unborn baby's and Makhaan's for Ganga's sake and in turn can't be appreciated for that stupid act. Anyways this is just my POV. I understand we have different opinions on these...and unfortunately people like me are the victim bashers now! So be it.
