TV actress Pratyusha Banerjee who is popular as the ex-Anandi of popular daily soap Balika Vadhuand who was recently seen as a contestant in the reality showBigg Boss 7;is all set to act in a Bengali film. Pratyusha will be seen taking a step ahead and is all set to start working in films. The Bengali girl herself shared this good news with the media on the red carpet of Golden Petal Awards 2013. "I have signed a Bengali movie. The shoot for the movie has not started yet. The shooting will resume next year in the month of February." says Pratyusha, adding, "I cannot disclose anything about my character at the moment. All I can say is that it is a woman-oriented movie and will pass a social message. I am going to act with really big names of Bengali films; I can't reveal them right now. It feels really good to have signed a Bengali movie. Being a Bengali, I have seen many Bengali movies and I really like them. I am looking forward to shoot for the movie."

Pratyusha also talked about Kamya's eviction; who was her co contestant in Bigg Boss 7 and become a very good friend of hers. "I wanted her to win; she stayed there for really long time. I am happy for her. Now I really don't care who will be the winner of the show," says Pratyusha.

She listed them - almost forgot VD's name

Then she said that I have just signed on for a Bengali art film with some of the biggest names of Bengali cinema

When asked, she said she cannot reveal the names but it is a women-centric film with one heroine, who is she

The actors are all big names

She is excited about shooting for that

On being asked about serials, she said hopefully soon

Then she said that Colors is the best channel

It gives many opportunities to everyone. For eg, I got BV, JDJ, and BB

And BV is a cult show where everyone in the industry wants to be part of it

So she is lucky that she was the oldest and longest-running Anandi - for 3 years
