I am hoping that somewhere in the kidnapping and rescue drama, that jagya will realize he too has feelings for ganga, and that is why he breaks the engagement. Sometimes, intense high drama situations make people realize emotions they never knew they had.

The other -- and I dont know how true this might be -- i have a feeling that saanchi might knowingly and willfully help ratan singh somehow. And when Jagya finds that saanchi has a bad nature he will be shocked into cancelling the engagement.

I think there is one possibility that when

Ratan Singh tries to threaten Ganga, Jagya will make an entry to rescue and save her. Also i feel Ratan Singh will ask Jagya about his relation with Ganga as why he is protecting her. Then Sumitra and Sanchi will blame Ganga for the mess in Godbharai. This thing will make Jagya furious and he will put sindoor in Ganga's maang rejecting Sanchi.
