yes today he was outstanding while shouting sumitra especially when he said will u allow to go outside now if it was anandhi or suguna and when he said how come ganga u decided that u r unfit why did u do that? good i am enjoying his screen space.

me too yaar..
atleast a scene like today in every epi.. i will worship cv's but they don't give chance na 😡
dialogue delivery was so fast, quick n effective he is the hero of the epi

Shashank was mind blowing.. I can still see the scene in front of my eyes...just want shashank's scenes like this. Enough if I have one scene no problem...Shashank said quality is important and not quantity.. He proved it today what quality he can add to Balika vadhu...

Violence against women, now a TRP-tripping formula

The trials and tribulations of the protagonist in a show is not a rocket science to decode any longer. What with many shows simultaneously showing tracks that are to do with either too much on screen aggression or acts of physical or psychological violence, the respective tracks are just getting OTT dramatic.

While, after a two week hiatus, the TRPs have indicated each show's popularity quotient, what's noteworthy is that Tellyland is trying to capture the imagination of the viewer with all the action that involves too much drama. The obvious outcome: the female protagonist finds herself at the receiving end and encounters obstacles created by the onscreen 'scheme'sters. Prime time TV is replete with acts of drama, tragedy and tearful moments where everything good goes for a toss with one motive - to grab eyeballs.

According to many in showbiz, there should be variety in content targeted at specific audiences interested in more drama. If a script calls for such a track, then why not, ask some. Actor Shashank Vyas says, "Certain shows are meant for audiences who like drama and entertainment. Drama is important for a TV soap. Changes are needed to take the story forward, because the audience wants variety

In a bid to grab eyeballs, violence against women is a reel-ity on soaps for now!
