since it's fiction and anything can happen over here let's just presume that singhs and shekhars have no problem with jagya-anandi-shiv interaction...shiv is too great and good to break jagya-anandi friendship...but let's see what we were shown in past and how opposite it is now
shiv-he was shown as a tough and rough collector but a soft and good person...he was always ready to raise his voice against injustice and always thought practically...he once himself told to anandi that govt. does not work on people's emotion and what a person deserve should be given to him no matter what (even punishment)
now he almost went against every thing...he has lost his practical thinking and has become more emotional than anandi...he bailed out jagya not once but twice...he gave idea to dadisa that jagya shoudl get remarried even though and literally encouraged it even when he knows how much partners in one-sided marriage suffers before meeting the happiness...he has completely forgotten about anandi's career and has no hopes to revive it in near future...he is ready to fulfill his sister's demand and is not raising his voice even though he can clearly see how wrong all this is...he has no command over his sister and does nothing to avoid anandi getting insulted by saanchi
Shekhars-the family was open-minded...initially Chotima was shown a bit hesitant about AnSh's marriage but she had a very logical reason specially after seeing the way Anandi was behaving with Jagya in front of Shiv (taking care of him and eveything)...i don't think as a mother she was wrong...she did not want her son to suffer because of Anandi's past but later on when she saw the real Anandi she opened her arms to her fully...Ira and every one else could see every goodness in Annadi's deeds and looking at Shiv and Mahi one could never doubt at Shekhars upbringing but now Saanchi is completely opposite of this family and slowly the family is losing it's sense too.
