I feel there is no need of all this drama to strecthed now unnecessarily...even if Sumitra blackmails Jagya that Saanchi is Anandi's SIL and it will create problems in Anandi's life in sasural then Jagya should tell every one clearly he thinks of Saanchi as his sister...than what can anyone do?

But libs, BV cvs are always relied on love triangles,

Instead of saying that he thinks Sanchi as sister, why not make Jagya tell the truth of their relationship - he is Anandi's ex-husband so how can he marry Anandi's sister-in-law?

BV CVs loves to show love triangles now a days.

The shekkars should have stood their ground in the first place, what's the worst that would have happened sanchi would have proposed jagya herself and she would have been knocked back or she would get fed up of trying to convince her parents. Had ira stuck to I'm ready to keep sanchi home all her life than let her marry jagya, after 6 months or a year she would have moved on or jagya wouldn't be available.

It was very easy and polite way! Jagya could have easily said he looked at her like a sister! And that would be that!

Why should he even bring up this "I am Anandi's ex husband" thing?

In Mahabharatha, Urvashi was lusting after Arjun and tried to attract him to her. But he resisted outright and called her mata, saying he considered her like mother of their race!

So why can't Jagya use the sister example in Sanchi's case? And declare that all his courteousness was due to basic civility and not any romantic interest!

Sanchi can later fume (the way Urvashi did in MB) but Shekhars would have to shut up. Singhs would also have backed off. He himself would have been saved!

But CVs won't choose a simple or easy way. They have to drag and twist everything! 😡
