In order to raise global awareness about the need to take positive action on environmental conditions, every year 5 June is celebrated as World Environment Day.
With the day in mind, talked to some of your favourite TV actors and asked them about their views on World Environment Day, what does it mean to them and what steps should be taken to make world a better place to live in.
Maintained Pratyusha Bannerjee, who was last seen in Colors' Balika Vadhu, "From our school times, we have been learning to keep the environment clean. We must make sure that we don't litter around and throw garbage bins here and there. So according to me everyday should be World Environment Day for us. We should start making this world a better place to live."
