This is a question on everyone's mind. Why saas-bahu drama ? BV was supposed to be different and why they turned their show into another saas-bahu drama ?

I am hoping this is just an adjustment phase for Anandi. Apparently, from BV timeline (which is always) they have been in Udaipur for about 2 months.. So, they are allowing Anandi (and Toral) to adjust and AnSh had to take their relationship to the next level.. So, allow her to adjust to sasural. Don't really understand the need of this UD track. I am hoping they will bring her professional track soon.

I am dreading the pregnancy track, for which they have given too mnay hints already.. I hope that is the not the next major track for AnSh.. Well... I know a woman can work and be pregnant/mother at the same time. But, I would love to see Anandi become a mother a bit later. OR they could do the pregnancy and professional track together.. But, a big NO for ONLY pregnancy track..

Don't know what the CVs have in mind.. It doesn't seem to me that the professional track is going to happen anytime soon though.. Sanchi-Jagya track and Vikram tracks have been given hints..

Well, as for Anandi, the less spoken the far better. With wooden expression replacement and plots with no head and tail Cv's are testing viewers to zenith.

I really do not understand why they have to spend so much time showing her trying to impress her in laws.They have already established Anandi's character as an ideal bahu and it is expected that she will be that.

Then they had to bring in UD issue to a create a conflict between MIL ,SIL and DIL out of that issue on top of it making Ira irrational by objecting to her son siding with his wife.

Agreed they need to show A boding with Shekhars and getting involved in that household.

But do they need to create such run of the mill drama for that?

They could have shown her bonding through positive inteeractions like taking interest in getting to know them be it Alok's business or Daduji's gardening and having some meaningful interactions with Ira and CM while doing social service or even while doing household work.

As for Anandi's career - it is very disappointing that Shiv and Anandi never sat and discussed what Anandi would do post her marriage considering that Shiv got to know her and developed liking for her through their interactions in professional field.

Agreed she needed to settle down in Udaipur - but even going by BV time line it has been more than 2 months since she came there.

She is a fighter who has overcome so many odds to become a Sarpanch and all that for what to end up as an ideal bahu in another household?

As for AnSh relationship - they have been married for just a few months and that too they have only very recently discovered their love for each other.Instead of showing them as a recently married couple trying to steal moments and time to spend with each other they are shown to be so complacent like they have been married for so many years.They are only shown discussing about their families and not about themselves.Agreed both Anandi and Shiv are very much into their family but even by that standards it is unrealistic.

This show promised to be different and stayed off from all these saas bahu drama why now they are taking this path?

We expected Anandi to reach the highs that she is capable of reaching with the help of her very supportive and wonderful husband and with that hope we are watching this show.I do hope CVs read this thread,

Anandi started doing all this this social service full time only after she was abandoned by her husband and only after she was allowed to do so by her in-laws. Before that she was a full time beendni who's first preference was to please her in-laws, make ginger tea for Ds, press her legs, make halwa...cook healthy and tasty food for the Singh's which they try to remember even now😭 and tell bed time stories to Nandu. Yes she used to participate a few times in some social issues...and that she is doing now too. Like she rescued Mannu...and rescued her husband in Kashmir and gave lectures to Kashmir people.By now, they all must have stopped conducting marriages that way .

To cut it short, Anandi was an active social worker only when she was left alone. She never used to go to school or teach anyone before. Everytime she has a family and a husband, taking care of them would be her preference. She is a normal girl like many of us. Just that she is an extreme optimist who takes things positively and does best things even in her worst times. She knows how to live happily and to make people around her happy...and she does not leave any opportunity to help others when needed.

I am glad that Shiv is not pushing her to do something. She will do something when she wants to do and let shiv encourage her at such times.

Edit : But yes i would like to see Anandi achieving more things in life career wise. I hope CV's focus more on her career. She had her share of troubles being a BV...now it can stop(i mean the troubles)!

After I restarted watching BV I was ridiculed for getting into the trap of saas bahu sagas which I studiously avoided up until now. Then I Wud get all fired up and defend my favorite serial for being an out of the box one (well for most of the time 😊)

Now im not so sure i can do tht and no chamce of cribbing coz i hear IToldYouSo s in the background. 😳

Cmon CVs wat r u doing! 😡 This is a serial many of us looked upto for its unique handling and themes. But the current track has me totally 😡. And the indiactors for future dont seem to be so good.🤢

I dont know if some of u hv caught up with Suchi's new FF which was dealing with A's post marriage education track. CVs pls look into this as some starting pt.

We dont want this ICONIC character languishing in kitchen prep 3-4 meals a day, doing such household duties ONLY and trying to prove her loyalty and defending herself frm vicious kitchen politics tracks. 🤢

I want to be a proud viewer and once for all stand behind a show which had the guts to bring forth something different while still being a good entertainer. I dont think it is too much to expect from likes of BV team. Still have faith that this ship can be resurrected.
