I don't know why in Indian society its the woman who can always claim...Please excuse me if I am wrong...why can't the man claim money from the woman? Are we females inferior and need support? I mean in western world, its equality i.e. both the partners can claim if they prove that its the other person due to whom the relationship suffered...why can't it be applicable in India?

Also coming to BV's situation, I don't think Gauri would get a single penny in case she claims. Because Jagya has no money, of course he is the chief medico in a big hospital, but the owners are his parents and not him. Why the family would pay for some mischief which he did. Also Gauri entered into the relationship knowing his marital status, so its her to be blamed. Its an easy case to be solved in court in 2 working days 🤣

Good to know about this law. What will happen to the child born because of live-in-relationship, where the woman knowingly gets into relationship of a married man? Do the law give full custody to the mom? If the woman can't get a penny from the man, I hope the man doesn't get any custody of his child.

redapple1, I don't know what is the law about children.

But this law may create problems for innocent women. A man can get into an affair posing as a bachelor( or widower/divorcee) and trick a woman. He can leave when he wishes and later he needs to only prove in the court that the woman got into a relationship knowingly. I don't know how they can prove the 'knowing' part. May be some witnesses will do. For a fraud man, he doesn't have to pay money and he doesn't have to take responsibility of children😕(if the law doesn't accept children born from such relationships ????).

I read the article you posted.
It says "The court allowed the woman's petition to the extent of seeking maintenance on behalf of their child. " At least if the woman is innocent, and the guy runs away from his responsibility, the court handles the child support.

I want Gauri back. If Jagghubhai MMBS can be redeemed then she deserves a SHOT. Y bring her back? Because her story is incomplete.

I agree with Skepblun that they have left open the possibility of G's return. If they bring her back then it will be at the most inopportune time for J -i.e. when's he's finally moved on with GangaMaiyaa.

I don't think Gauri can claim support for herself, but if she arrives with Baby Dukhiya then that's a whole new ball game. Singhs ke waaris surely deserves support.

Today Bhairav clarified that there is no roadblock in J's remarriage as JaGa1 were legally not married. But, he forgot basic biology! One need not be married to reproduce.

I'm not sure whether Indian law prohibits man from claiming money. Ideally man and woman should be treated equally by law.

But I guess the laws are there to protect the interests of women from large section of the society. Even now, many women in India are not financially self sufficient. Society at large, discriminates against divorcees and abandoned wives. It would be an uphill task for a woman to find another life partner, while it is easy for a man to get into a new relationship. Many sections of Indian society is still like that. If a woman leaves a man, he may suffer emotionally(sometimes financially), but not much socially. But when a man leaves a woman, she might have to suffer for the rest of her life. Ofcourse things are very different for educated women in cities. But the ground reality in villages tell another story. If society refuse to employ a woman and if there is no source of income, woman will be forced into unimaginable plights!

May be Singhs should post in newspapers that Jagya/Jagadish/Jagath is going to get married in 30 days time. Any claims should be made before that...

I think Singhs would fix Jagya's marriage happily with Sanchi 🥳...Anandi would try to convince Sanchi but would fail 🤢...And on the D-day Gauri mata would appear with her Dukhya 🤣 for the claim...claim for the child not for her as all societies let the women claim for the baby from the relationship.

Then the moron Sanchi would land into reality & the Singhs would have no choice but to get him married with Ganga instead 😉
