And yes, I agree, Jagdish Singh is in fact a very realistic character. He has made countless mistakes, hasn't even repented/corrected half of them, and that is what makes him a human being... After all, to err is human.
My only problem with Jagya at the moment is that despite being 25+ years old, he is not the slightest bit mature when it comes to matters of the heart. He knows that him and Anandi have gone through various rough patches in life, and now that Anandi has fully moved on... he should be careful enough to put his mind before his heart and think twice before publicly displaying his frustration and all other emotional chaos.
For that reason, I think it is justified for Jagya to not be shown as a part of Anandi's childhood, because knowing Jagya..he'll have some cranky reaction that will make things all the more uncomfortable for Anandi, especially because her in-laws are also present. It's not Anandi or her in-laws who'll have a problem seeing Jagya as a prominent part of Anandi's childhood...as far as I see it, I think they'll in fact enjoy that aspect of the performance as much as everything else... but to me it seems as if Jagya wouldn't...he'll get emotional with all those flashbacks and we all know that Jagya isn't all that great at putting a cork to his emotional outburst.
Anyway, great topic! I love discussing Jagya's character.. I find myself having numerous mood swings when it comes to Jagya because I'm always going back and forth between liking him, hating him, being annoyed at him, and what not! At the end though, I love the actor portraying Jagya's character...hats off to Shashank for bringing such a complex character to life with so much ease!!

thank you so much. I am so glad to hear such a good reply from you. you have written everything so perfectly.

I agree Jagya is immature confused, and dont have control in his anger or when it comes to emotions but thats what makes someone a human. we all have positive and as well as negtitive things in our selves. I still feel he should have been part of the play. That was important when it comes to story.

Because for viewers, its important to see the difference between old Jagya and new jagya.

thanks a lot. it would be great discussion with you and everyone else about this character. as jagya character is very complicated and we all have different views about this character. its very interesting character in my view.

But his way of thinking, emotions, logic/illogic, change of moods- all look very real. Sometimes I even feel, I know this kind of a person somewhere sometime😕...He looks that much real to me. If I can correlate or recollect anything, one day I will make a post about Inside J's mind.

completely agree with you. we have people like him around us and at times we can even relate with him. he is realistic which makes him different and very interesting to analyze and see

Jagya character is very very realistic. To show balvivah is wrong they inserted the character of gauri. Due to change of artist they could not make their confession drama with the wrong person they were interrupted by jagya even after reintroduced him as a matured guy. It was also convincing bcoz cv's don't want to cut the cord between anandhi and jagya which makes the show unique from other shows because of its theme balvivah.

All the time not necessary only jagya character shld be utilised to keep their theme in live, still we are wishing that he shld be shown more matured and strong as a man who learnt from his mistakes. It is in the hands of only cv's. Really if their theme is balvivah then need to give justice to balakvar since he is also the victim of balvivah. Hats off to shashank for playing such a complicated role with lots of enthusiasm.

completely agree with you. Jagya is also victim of balviviah and they cannot compromise with his character like that. hope with anandi moving, we can hope for Jagya and Ganga story as both of them are victims of bal viviah

Luking present track I have doubt they will show any lovestory between Jagya Ganga. Its Anandi who will chose J's bride between Sanchi n Ganga. Now I have no faith on cvs. they turned Jagya negative to make new Anandi (Prats) acceptable. Then made Gauri negative to give all sympathy to Anandi. People hated Gauri & Jagya thats the real resion they loved Anandi. Again wid Torals arrival they are twisting Jagyas track. Who knows in future they make Ganga negativ too.

lolz!!!! Even the same doubt rised in my mind they may change the shade of jagya. Who is already playing in a grey shade😆. It is high time jagya shld be shown as a fully redeemed person (full white) and his script shld be clean. If at all they turned him in to negative it would be very difficult to bring back his image among the viewers since the show is not all abt anandhi. 100% sure they won't turn ganga negative.😛

hope so @SaraluvRaghavi I'm started watching this show again after Gangas entry. Her story was going so nicely befor "basant panchmi" episode but after 4th march episode there is no progress in her story. I loved the new redeem Jagya and Ganga Jagya relation there talks. but again cvs making him gry. I'm only intrested in Gangas lifes story and Ganga Jagya love or friendship track.

Jagya is a most realistic character bcoz his emotions are real. Sometimes cvs twisted his character so much that we thought this is not our Jagya. He done lots of bad things but he done lots of good things too. In Anandis story he was the most importent character in her chaildhood.

Exactly... 😊 I guess we could write an essay about Jagya character... 😃 On thing is sure he wont leave anyone indifferent 😃 At the end im really happy they didn make him neither positive neither negative character, he is always somewhere between... like regular people 😃

And If u ask me DS is the only quilty for Jagya behavior... She is the only person who raised him to be selfish and in center of attention... And he saw from her how to torture Anandi. she was insulting her, hurting her...she was so cruel back then, and everyone were accepting that, its not strange that Jagya manifested almost the same behavior to Anandi when he grew up... From his childhood he was literally taught that Anandi will be always there for him to fix every mistake of him, to help him. to do whatever is needed for him... and also the Singhs... So they spoiled him as a child... its obvious that he will not turn out well when he grow up... if DS was teaching her grandson how to be a humble and honest person instead she was torturing Anandi... then we would watch i guess some other show...😃 anyway i like the way it turn out, just wish they will finally give Jagya decent redeem 😃
