LOL before I write a word, I would like to say that I am NOT Jagya fan or lover and I guess everyone here knows this well.

anyways continuing on, Jagya is realistic. Anyone would feel bad seeing his or her love being with other person or going away from his or her life forever. We cannot expect jagya to be all mahan and happyy. That would be unrealistic.

Jagya character is realistic. A character who, make mistakes, feel bad, get angry or jealous. He defines a human. I am not going to say a good or bad human because thats not connected with my topic but will only say he defines a human. A normal human who makes all these mistakes but then realize them as well. Jagya has done a lot of mistakes in the past and I dont want to get into those mistakes as those were really big mistakes but then he realize those mistakes which makes him realistic.

Jagya is sad and angry because the person he spended his childhood with is going away with someone forever. I know now he has NO right to question anyone because he is responsible for what happen with him and he is not questioning anyone either but he has right to feel bad. thats human nature.

It was horrible the way they didnt show Jagya in anandi's childhood. I can understand why didnt they show jagya when anandi grow up. But they should have shown Jagya in anandi's childhood play. Because Jagya was a big part of Anandi's childhood.

Jagya felt bad and anyone would. well I would have if this happened with me.

thats realistic.

Again please dont jump on me saying that I am obbessed or too hard heart to understand what anandi went through. Anandi went though a lot in her life and I understand and feel bad for her.

And neither I am calling jagya good or bad person but I am just calling him realistic person.

he is realistic.

I know A person in real could not connect with Jagya Anandi Ganga Shiv Dadisa or any character completely. At least I cannot and I know many people here are not exactly like any of these characters.

But there are certain fictional character that can be related or at least their human characteistics.

Jagya anger frustration could be related. I am not saying reasons as of why. ofcourse the reasons cannot be related or for some it can. But the characteristic of anger or frustration could be related.

again I dont know why I am making this topic but I just feel it. And I would repeat myself again, I am not jagya fan or anything but I just feel like to make an topic as a viewer of the show.

I agree jagyas situatio Is unrealistic, like betraying childhood sweet heart etc..( that was created for trps then..whole different discussion)... But, his feelings are realistic...they feel more realistic because of the actor playing the role...my pov..

To show Bal vivah is wrong they made jagya cheat on anandi and eventually they will prove that jagya and anandi r good childhood friends tied up in an institution when they really did not know the meaning of love or marriage. Anandi found the true love in shiv and eventually jagya will realize anandi was never meant to be his wife and will find true love in Ganga.

There are other ways to show bal vivah is wrong...incompatibility itself is enough... There is no need to bring other woman to prove it...trps play a big role in the story and jagya gauri angle got good trps back then !

Very well said! I'm not a huge fan of Jagya either, except for the fact that I love Shashank Vyas' acting and accurate portrayal of such a realistic character.
And yes, I agree, Jagdish Singh is in fact a very realistic character. He has made countless mistakes, hasn't even repented/corrected half of them, and that is what makes him a human being... After all, to err is human.
My only problem with Jagya at the moment is that despite being 25+ years old, he is not the slightest bit mature when it comes to matters of the heart. He knows that him and Anandi have gone through various rough patches in life, and now that Anandi has fully moved on... he should be careful enough to put his mind before his heart and think twice before publicly displaying his frustration and all other emotional chaos.
For that reason, I think it is justified for Jagya to not be shown as a part of Anandi's childhood, because knowing Jagya..he'll have some cranky reaction that will make things all the more uncomfortable for Anandi, especially because her in-laws are also present. It's not Anandi or her in-laws who'll have a problem seeing Jagya as a prominent part of Anandi's childhood...as far as I see it, I think they'll in fact enjoy that aspect of the performance as much as everything else... but to me it seems as if Jagya wouldn't...he'll get emotional with all those flashbacks and we all know that Jagya isn't all that great at putting a cork to his emotional outburst.
Anyway, great topic! I love discussing Jagya's character.. I find myself having numerous mood swings when it comes to Jagya because I'm always going back and forth between liking him, hating him, being annoyed at him, and what not! At the end though, I love the actor portraying Jagya's character...hats off to Shashank for bringing such a complex character to life with so much ease!!

@SaraluvRaghaVI, I agree with you, Jagya as a character looks very realistic to me. Whether he is good or bad or grey is a different matter. But his way of thinking, emotions, logic/illogic, change of moods- all look very real. Sometimes I even feel, I know this kind of a person somewhere sometime😕...He looks that much real to me. If I can correlate or recollect anything, one day I will make a post about Inside J's mind.

agree and what I love that they didnt show jagya as entire negetative character. instead they made him grey yet realistic. Jagya regret of what he did but to me that was not complete. I feel there is or should be one more part of his true realization. maybe that will happen when jagya ganga track will start.
