What the hell is going on in the show these days??!! I've always boasted about its quality and content but seriously WHAT THE...(you know the word!) is happening?! Absolutely frustrated with BS going on.
1.) Why does BV always show educated and city-bred girls as rude and badly behaved (Sanchi) or highly educated yet fully naive and not "wife material" (Aashima)?! Village born Gauri was ideal earlier but her character was mauled after exposure to higher education and city life. Why?! Every village girl is a certified sati savitri (Ganga, Anandi blah blah) while city girls are bonkers/vamps/bimbos?! It's good to show that village girls are no less. But why vilify city-bred girls in the process?! 😡
Even Gauri's mentor in Mumbai, Shivani was shown to be divorced. She was a nice woman but was alone. So all city women are doomed according to BV? Not a single example of city-born/city bred woman being perfect or even normal!
2.) THE SINGHS' CONSTANT INTERFERENCE: They kept interfering in Sugna-Shyam's life and Sugna's sasural even after her marriage and kids. They forever keep meddling in Anandi's life. Today's episode was the limit! Poor Shiv-Anandi have been able to come close with so much difficulty. And this DS calls up late at night to cry her heart out about Jagya's THIRD marriage?! Why should Anandi be concerned about Jagya's re-re-remarriage?! Is she his mom/sister/guardian/grandma?! How can they think of pestering Anandi in every matter?! 🤢
I am amazed at Shiv's patience! If I were in his place I'd have gotten irritated! Heck! Singhs treat even Shiv as some slave who's forever at their beck and call! Marry our divorced DIL, find Jagya, rescue Ganga and Mannu, come over to dinner, stop your transfer and stay in Jetsar (aisi ki taisi!)!!!
I just hate how everyone from Anandi, her parents, Gehna, her parents, Shyam and his family, Shiv and his family, just everyone dances to Singhs' tunes!!! I am so fed up that I feel like throwing up when I see the Singhs now!!! 😡
3.) JAGYA's Royally Messed Personal life:
How many times will he marry? How many times will he fall in love? Or how many times anyone else will fall in love with him? Who the hell does he really love? Who the hell actually stays in his memories? (To Anandi, he'd say he'd thrown her out of his life and that Gauri was his soulmate. And now he says meri yaadon mein Anandi hai!)
When he had to blackmail, coerce and emotionally pressurise Gauri and her parents into marrying him/letting him marry her, he went to the extent of attempting suicide, stayed outside their door till they attended and yielded to his demand. But now when he supposedly had to part amicably with Gauri and apologise to her, he just left a damned letter?! Does a letter end a relationship?! (I am surprised this man keeps bedding women, keeps impregnating them but isn't even aware that the woman he slept with, could probably be pregnant!!)
He can remarry. But what's this sudden surge of attachment to Anandi and attempt to meddle in her life?! I wanted to slap him when he asked Bapusa to stop Shiv's transfer to Udaipur and barked about his grief at Anandi not being in Jaitser anymore. Now today I wanted to SPIT at the screen when he told to Anandi, meri yaadon mein tum ho, EVEN AFTER listening from her how she'd moved on and how both Shiv and she dearly loved each other! Where is his so called new found maturity now?! How could he say those words to Anandi?! Doesn't he realise she's married to someone else now? Or should Anandi give him the same angry words treatment which he did to her when he married Gauri?! Fatichar Jagya! 😡
Now Sanchi is reportedly supposed to fall in love with him?! Oh please! Triangle between Jagya, Ganga and Sanchi sounds so damn disgusting! And don't tell me, Shiv - Anandi's married life will get interfered with, in the process of this bullshit triangle! I don't want to see them trying to counsel Sanchi or Jagya or any fights between the two, due to Sanchi or that dawandol Jagya! 😡
4.) Inconsistencies in Ganga's characterisation: Earlier Ganga was shown so clever, strong, resolute and solid! She was so smart, she could escape with Mannu from her house at any time (I mean she made repeated attempts and was nearly successful in the last one).
Why have they made her a wimp and some clumsy doll ever since she entered Singh haveli? She doesn't seem to mind her own business. Sometimes she butts in and gives advice like she's family and doles out heavyweight wisdom. Sometimes she acts all nervous and scared, too reluctant to speak, too self conscious of how others react to her (or her cooked food, any work she does). The same woman who was smart enough to flee from an iron-cage like house, now trips over the stairs or runs into Jagya like a confused, clumsy kid? What's all this? Desperate attempts to show her innocence? Desperate, sloppily written, badly executed sequences to somehow liken Ganga to Anandi (as a suitable replacement to Singh haveli beendni)?!
I am not bashing Ganga or the actress. But her behaviour has seemed very inconsistent after she's been introduced to haveli. The same woman who could take on the entire Jetsar village when they questioned her about Jagya and leaving her husband, was tongue-tied and crestfallen when stupid Sanchi said some nonsense to her at the hospital?! I expected Ganga to give a firm repartee to Sanchi. But it was otherwise.
Sometimes she's happy, sometimes she's depressed...her character swings so oddly...I can't make out its graph! I am sorry!
5.) No proper closure to Gauri's chapter:
Let's make it clear. Gauri alone wasn't guilty or evil. She was nice and ideal. It was DS who ruined her life when she was small. Later her parents ruined it for her when they left her at haveli door so that Singhs accept her and still later her mother kept poisoning her ears against Singhs. Most of other "bad things" she's done was done at Jagya's behest. He lied to her about his married status, heck! Even his name! He kept her in dark, he emotionally blackmailed her into marrying him. I don't condone Gauri's actions post marriage to Jagya. But if she was psychotic or creepy it was only in matters related to Singhs (not otherwise) and that also was a result of what all she had to face all through her life.
If the BV guys can replace Anandi herself, then why can't they replace Gauri? As a viewer, I demand proper closure or handling of Gauri's chapter. If Jagya can get chance to reform, then so should Gauri (her list of sins is smaller than Jagya's!). If her and Jagya's reunion is not to be done, fine! At least show us what happened to her after Jagya left her? What did she do with her life? She remarried? Or she decided to stay as it is? She was pregnant. What happened to her baby? Did she give birth to it? Or did she abort it? If she gave birth to it, then doesn't Jagya have right to know about his and her child? All of them (Jagya, Gauri, their child) have rights over each other! CVs must tackle this before proceeding with some love triangle!
And please! Don't suddenly bring up Gauri and kid when Jagya's about to get married for third time or has settled in his married life again! We don't want K-serials type nonsense!
6.) Too much going on, tracks not adding up properly:
CVs started many things in last few months. But nothing came to conclusion! Jagya was to treat Varun and his phobia. What happened to that? They left it suddenly! Gehna's pregnancy...this came abruptly, even now track isn't being handled properly. It looks odd how they show her lying on bed or taking medicine (in stupid filler episodes). Jagya had decided to complete his studies (MS) and prepare for exams which he'd earlier left. That plan's suddenly abandoned ever since he got baap ka hospital now?!
Anandi's school and adult education center were given to Phooli and Gulli if I am not mistaken. Now they showed it was shut down and Anandi wanted to resume it again. CVs forgot their own previously shown story? And is running a school some joke? You can't start and shut schools at your own will!
Heth Singh was briefly shown to have intentions to mess up with Shiv and Anandi as administrators of Jetsar. He's out now?
Will Sanchi's vacation go on forever? Is Shiv relocating to Udaipur with Anandi or not, now that this Jagya remarriage and Jagya-Sanchi-Ganga track is to start? Why were Shekhars crestfallen at news of Shiv staying at Circuit house in Udaipur? Isn't the Circuit house big enough for entire Shekhar family to live together there?
Ratan Singh's court case, Ganga's divorce from him etc. - are all still pending.
Previous tracks haven't been handled, they're starting new ones and to me, as a viewer, nothing seems to add up! I don't know where the hell are story and characters going?! 😲
As if actor replacements are already not hard to handle, other stuff is also trash.
