Also sorry to hear your mom is upset and can't watch. Just wondering how she felt about a lot of what was shown before? Is she a new viewer? They showed so many rapes and near rapes on the show before including Ganga's recently. Its always been a dodgy show to watch with parents both in terms of content and the random shirtless scenes including both Jagya, Shiv, and others - even Shravan too.

Then there is Anandi kissing Jagya, Jagya's extra-marital raas leelas. No definitely not things I would want to discuss with a parent. JMO.

That's why I don't watch anything other than cartoons or news on actual tv.😊 Cooking and home improvement shows are rather POP in our household for that reason. Now if I suggest you adopt same policy - you will complain am telling you what to do. Viewership as we agree is a choice, but if you don't want to risk dodgy content my household method of safe shows is an option worth considering.

Am an infrequent viewer - I watch when I like and ditch when I don't, but I distinctly recall a really ghastly scene where Basant was drunk and Gehna was not consenting just after their marriage. Mahavir Singh attempted to rape a young DS, so she fled with the kids. And even Anandi was kidnapped by Shravan. Some Dongibaba attempted to molest Asha. BV's never been a show for the faint of heart or appropriate for viewership with multiple generations if one lives in a household where such things are not discussed.
