DITTO! I was skeptical...but today's episode brought a huge difference in my opinion! I think that's also cuz she had more screen space today (as in more dialogues...warna kal tak tou she was just clapping and smiling while watching a dance performance).

And as for the topic starter, I agree that the credit should go to the director and the creatives far more than the actor...but the actor and his/her efforts shouldn't entirely be neglected either...so that's probably why you find people praising Toral for her acting instead of praising the team for finally giving Anandi a script full of smiles, laughter and confidence. And it's also true that Prats' left at a very high and happy point in Anandi's life...so obviously Toral would pick up on that...and it's also true that people are ignoring these past few weeks of Anandi's happiness and are instead focusing on her rona-dhona days...and I've been doing that as well until you brought this up...so in my defence, I guess it's because Prats wali Anandi's rona-dhona days outnumbered her happy-go-lucky days 😆 Even after getting married to Shiv, Anandi still cried about leaving her family (even though she seems to spend more time with them than at the Circuit House anyway), then about Jagya leaving her family, then about her mother-in-law having a problem with her celebrating Sankranti in Jaitsar, then about her choti-mother-in-law and her sister-in-law knowing about the deep, dark secrets of her married life, then about Ganga losing her baby...it's hard to ignore all of this and remember just the past few days when she finally recognized her love for her husband and that recognition began to glow on her face. Similarly, it's hard to remember her happy days with Jagya (if any...sorry, I didn't watch the show back then..I'm only speaking on behalf of all the flashbacks that I've seen) because he gave her enough sorrow afterwards.

Anyway, I'm just a recent follower of BV, a fan of Prats while also willing to give Toral a chance...and so far I have been going on about Toral's acting...but now that you've mentioned it, I'll definitely make sure to credit the team for giving Anandi the happy script that Prats portrayed in her final days and that Toral is currently portraying 😊

My gripe was about people saying she has brought a 'new' Anandi.

If Pratyusha had continued, she would have been doing the same thing -looking happy and strong. When needed, she has expressed anger, outrage, determination & bravery very well. People are forgetting all the other acting skills bcoz of the rona-dhona... which was a demand of the script. I think that's a bias.You're right, it definitely is a bias...and I also forgot all those other acting skills due to all the rona-dhona and misery that her character had to go through (lol..I'm watching re-runs on youtube right now 😛). Although, I feel that if Pratyusha was continuing then Anandi would've slowly gone into a super happy and chirpy mode (the strength I won't comment on because I think that's a trait that Anandi has always had, regardless of the actor that plays her role)...but for some reason, with Toral's entry, Anandi all of a sudden seems too happy and chirpy...then again maybe she's excited about meeting her teacherjee after ages..I dunno...I'm trying to give the director and the creatives as much benefit of the doubt as possible...but I'm struggling! 😆 So I guess because with the shift in actor, there seemed an abrupt change in Anandi's personality as well...while Pratyusha would've slowly transitioned into a peppy Anandi, Toral has literally begun with the peppy-ness...so that's perhaps why she's being credited for bringing a "new" Anandi 😕 I'm just suggesting why this whole "new Anandi" rant might've begun...though I agree that it is mainly a demand of the script that the actor is following, not creating herself.

And if script requires, I am sure Toral will also cry buckets. In fact all female leads of almost all indian soaps cry. Then I wonder what will happen to 'new' Anandi. And what if Toral had joined 6 months back? Wouldn't she be all 'crying' & 'confused'. Exactly! I really hope Toral doesn't have to cry...it's high time for Anandi to not be sad about anything anymore...unless they're tears of joy, I do not want to see them anywhere near Anandi!

Anandi had very happy days with Jagya, before he went for MS in Mumbai. Since. you haven't watched, we can't have a conversation about that.Yeah I've seen that in some flashbacks...I've always wondered actually how the viewers would've reacted to such a drastic change in Jagya's character and how the discussion on the forum must've been! Are the episodes before Jagya's trip to Mumbai worth watching? I'd love to catch anything interesting if time permits 😊
