1/23/13 Written Update

Jaitser Hospital:-

Nandu is playing with Jagaya's chair. Dadisaa asks Jagaya to sit on his chair. He takes his family's blessings. With everybody, including Shiv and Anandi give him their best wishes. Jagaya sits on the chair, thinking about his previous incident with his family. Bhairo tells him that from now on wards he should work for the benefit of the Jaitser Everybody encourages Jagaya that what happened today, the whole village has been waiting for this day for a long time. Jagaya says that there's something waiting to be rectified for a long time now. He takes his name plate, referring as Dr. Jagat Singh and says that it should be rectified as Dr. Jagdish Bhairo Singh. Singhs extremely happy at this Lal Singh immediately takes the name plate and Dadisaa tells Lal Singh also to inform the other doctors about Jagaya's arrival. Shiv asks from Dadisaa if she has any other surprise to give to them. Dadisaa, in a way of gratitude, thanks him that he made it possible what they had been waiting for a long time, and that's Jagaya returning to his house. Shiv asks from Dadisaa if she has any other secret wish. Dadisaa invites Shiv along with his family, for celebrating Anandi's first Sankranti with them. Choti maa is at a loss to say anything, as she doesn't know how to refuse Dadisaa and also how to tell Ira about it. Choti maa says that it needs to be considered but Dadisaa forces her to talk to her family now. Choti maa avoids the situation saying that, she doesn't need to talk right away. she will go home and talk to them.

Dadisaa gets into assigning duties to everybody for Sankranti's preparations. Nandu says that he will hold Jagaya's chakri this time not Anandi. Sumitra tries to tell Nandu that he will have no problem. Sanchi gets into a verbal fight with Nandu over whose brother flies kites best, despite Shiv asking her to let it go, since Nandu's just a child. They decide that whoever wins, would make the other person do whatever he wants and who loses would be made a MURGA in front of everyone. The deal is sealed much to everyone's amazement.

Ratan Singh's Haveli:-

Ratan and his family too are preparing for Sankranti .Ratan gives Padma, the duty to arrange for food. Padma tries to ward off the responsibility by asking for a Halwaai for food preparation. Ratan snubs her off saying that she should not add on to the expenditure and should rather get Ganga to do it. He calls out to Ganga and gives her the responsibility rudely. Padma and her mother in law are happy to see their workload off.

Ganga leaves and goes to her son and her eyes wander off to the kites in the sky. She feels that kites have a better fate than hers, that even though in bondage, they get to fly and thinks when would the day come when she too will fly in freedom and soar high in the sky. Then an idea develops in her mind, that Sankranti is the best day for her to be free from her bondages, as nobody will notice her absence in the fever of the festival.

Jaitser Hospital

Lal singh tells Basant on the phone, that he can come with Gehna tomorrow for the tests. when Jagaya hears this, Lal Singh tells him the entire story. Also tells him that Basant is feeling shy in talking to him, Jagaya decides that he will go and approach them about this and Lal Singh too supports Jagaya saying that they will feel more secure if they know that Jagaya too is associated with it. Just then, Jagaya gets Nandu's call and decides to leave for shopping with him.

CH:-

Shiv reaches home with his family. The phone rings and Choti maa goes inside to get it. Shiv goes to park his car.Sanchi and Anandi, left alone are discussing about who's better at kite flying between Shiv and Jagaya While Sanchi is vehemently in favor of Shiv, Anandi, doesn't put Shiv down, yet also tells Sanchi that Jagaya would be a strong competition to Shiv. As she walks off, Sanchi thinks that tomorrow will prove that her brother, Shiv is not only ahead of Jagaya in kite flying, but in every other aspect of life. Episode ends on Sanchi

Voice over Today's generation has an inclination towards their thinking that it is always right hence any thinking other than theirs is deemed wrong by them Such narrow thinking is the reason for their failures in life.

Precap: Ira is upset, that it is their son's first Sankranti too, after the marriage, and that they would feel lonely too if Shiv and Anandi are absent. She asks Choti maa if she didn't tell Dadisaa that they had earlier made a plan with Anandi and Shiv. CM doesnt know what to say. Anandi is a little tensed seeing CM's expression, while talking on the phone to Ira. Anandi talks to Ira saying that she would talk to Dadisaa, and get her to give them permission so that they can come to Udaipur to celebrate with them. But Ira stops her saying that she shouldn't talk to Dadisaa since she also must have made preparations by now and decides that she would manage Alok and Dadu there somehow. Anandi later talks to Shiv saying that his mother might not show it but she too must have felt bad. Shiv says that his mother is very mature and doesn't keep this things in her heart, Anandi says that she has an idea through which they would be able to keep both the families happy. Shiv has a questioning look on his face while Anandi smiles in excitement of her plan.
