I can't help admiring Sanchi thru all this drama. She just zipped it. Or may be she w is saving it all after she returns home. She is one happy campaigner that she she could go home soon. Thank God ,it was nice to hear A's concern for Shiv's responsibility regarding J. But still so much melodrama was not needed. I think Shiv was getting slightly irritated and told her to try and controll herself. That is a start. Next time he should show a little more authority. I was disappointed that he did not insist in going ahead with the ceremony. I knew from the beginning that it was not concern about J, but concern about the Singhs. But why is, J leaving such a big thing. She knew he did not escape from the district and went to find himself. She read the letter. In fact she should be the one comforting Sumi and Singh family that everything will be ok. In fact I liked Ds's advice to her that her first priority should be her bheend and Sasuraal . She should keep saying it again and again. I am glad Meenu and Sanchi got to hear it, so that they don't think that Singh family is tricking Shiv into being their gulam.

@monamee111, this is Indian culture. Right or wrong there is some logic to it. Even girl's parents want to get rid g of girls after a certain age. No matter how modern they are, they don't want them showing up at every drop of the hat.if we follow the western culture after marriage the couple is for themselves only. Neither Maika nor sasural. This also is ok if one lives in a modern law abiding, civic minded society.Thevreason for the way it is in Indian society is, man had been the bread winner. He had to look after his family. Families did not have only one child. So girls leave, boys stay home and take care of them. In the event there is no male child son in law takes care.the system is fine if implemented in a fair and humane way.

Very disappointed with BV today, what is wrong with Anandi to behave as if Jagya has died, damn it he has gone to another village only, has not died that she was getting so nonsensical and hysterical. I haven't watched the episode, but based on this update, I don't quite understand the leap from "My maayke waale were in pain and I couldn't tell - how awful!" to "I can't stay here and do this rasam". Like that logic doesn't make sense to me. 😕 But hey, if she wants to go home with Shiv, that's perfectly fine in my book. I just really want them to be alone and away from all these rasams and people and interference so that they can both have time to be alone with each other without 273849728394 other factors involved...
