Just like Avi, an update a day, sometimes half, sometimes two, more out of time restraints than anything else. But the girl's on to something... certainly allows you to savour the story.
Anthapura... Hasini, it's been a while... I had not realised just how much I've missed your work until I started reading this story. Thank you for the PM, by the way. I would have missed out on a great piece had you not brought it to my attention.
The great thing about reading a story with a base from a show I've not seen is that I have the complete freedom to experience everything - the characters, the situations, right down to the very atmosphere - solely from your words and the world you've created from them. It's no surprise then that I'm quite fond of the ambitious, resolute and curious Anandi, the witty, collected yet mysterious Shiv, the conflicted and, in your words, larger-than-life (although I am yet to fully agree on this) Mitra and Prithvi... who, despite being the one with the more obvious air of angst and mystery, is the one I feel I can understand the most.
When I began to read the story, I tried to put my bias for Prithviraj aside and discern my feelings for your Prithvi only through your words. But now, I see that my feelings for both are in the same grain... sign me up to the Prithvi Fan Club too, please. It's going to take quite a lot for me to warm up to Shiv the way I have to Prithvi, although I did agree with his views on Mitra and Prithvi's relationship and his warning for Anandi. And the man has yet to make his presence felt in its entirety, to bring himself forth in to the place where he perhaps will finally step out of the haze... the present... so who knows, maybe he does have a fighting chance... ;)
Coming to the latest chapter... I am slightly leaning towards the idea of the
'villain' (used dubiously here, as I too am sound with your idea of the word) being Shiv. Why? A hunch, perhaps because had I been the writer, I have a feeling I may have made him so. But also... is this so called villain not torturing the man about an ambitious water project? Now was he
lost on his way to recant his vote for said water project or will it merely be said so, that that was his wish? And by whom, the profanity lover?
A villain to only the bhen***d... does that make him a saviour to others? Does that make him Shiv? I wonder...
Did you change your picture, H? I was on my phone a half hour ago and I could have sworn that it was the feather pen holding
Lahari I saw...
