Me too feel the same...

She is just not able to get out of the feelings she had once felt with J...not able to physically invest in S...as she had already invested in J...

One more point would be the insecurity SHE may be feeling with herself...that she may not be able to satisfy him...in that respect and may be her thought that it is also one of the reason J had left her.

These 2 points are playing the havoc with her mind...

It is about trusting him and reaching out to his extended hands and moving forward in life.Because she is not sure about herself he is sure about her and himself so follow his lead and find happiness in life make him happy in the process.
