at first night she was tired too much so dozed off without even knowing when she slept , second i feel she gave him a quite clear signal directly saying at once she would have thought it will be insulting to Shiv but both will discuss .and she is slowly proceeding and opening her heart slowly to him will take time now what you expect from her on very first day ?

no the signal was not good enough... yes it was enough for us bcoz we already know it.. but not for shiv..he misread her signals as shyness..

@Stuti: I totally agree with your post. Even women brought up in a non-conventionally orthodox background have their inhibitions getting comfortable physically with with a man although the male in question is her husband. This is very natural sply in arranged marriages where the couple might not be in that point of their relationship where physical intimacy is very easy right away after the performance of marriage rituals. Communication is the key here which may come in the form of verbal or non verbal cues.

Like you said since A is brought up in an orthodox family background her communicating these apprehensions of her's is not easy and hence she is non verbally trying to give S hints. Moreover since A has had a very long and deep relationship with Jagya her ex-husband, getting physically intimate with another man is not easy. She will need time to take her marriage forward one step at a time.

@Jack0007: I understand what you are saying and also agree that A needs to communicate her feelings. But its barely a day after their marriage and after all the elaborate rituals and ceremonies, one does get physically and mentally exhausted. Her dozing off to sleep was just an outcome of that. She being from a conservative background and this phase of her relationship with S being a new one, it might be difficult or uncomfortable for her to talk about it openly to him. The best she can do is give him non-verbal cues. This will open the door of communication and they will talk it over. She should clearly state her feelings at that point.

S on the other hand is not wrong. Its his first experience and he loves A very dearly. So him wanting to express his love for her is also very natural. After the scene in the precap, he is smart enough to understand the reason of her anxiety and he will give her her space. He is mature enough to respect her and not force himself on her.

I am sure A also understands the implications of a married life besides her duty to her in-laws. Its just that she needs some time to get comfortable with it which is quite normal for any girl or for that matter any guy.

With jagya's track coming i would expect trouble for the new wed's. But for Shiv's character, its a natural thing to expect something from your wife especially just a hug. But the way anandi is scared in the precap, it didn't go un noticed by Shiv am sure he ll wait till anandi ll be ready. And i can also understand that the time wasn't right, its morning so... I think Shiv should ve waited till evening. But for me personally, i loved every bit of it & i dont blame him.
