The ring finding ceremory

In today's episode i have watched that shiv has won the ring finding ceremony.I am a Bengali girl according to our believe the partner who win this ceremony he will command the relation in future.The other partner will be dependent on him or her.

I don't think Shiv-Anandi 's relation will be like that...who has more command n who has it less...Shiv will surely try his best to make both himself n Anandi equal in this relation n soon Anandi will also accept n help him in doing so(u see Anandi was brought up in such a way that she was taught that husband is more big n imp in marriage than wife...it was due to situation that Anandi had the command over Jagya n her relation)

There is no such thing as dominating over eachother with this type of traditions...They are all part of the game, to make the bride and groom feel comfortable around eachother, as bride is new in her in-laws place and she needs some light moments to mingle up and get used to her new sasural...After her bidai she is very emotional and feels lonely...So, to make them both comfortable this type of games are played...

i dont think the ring is a metaphor for any future thing.. just a game and he won it..! that's it. Its an equal relationship (which was proved by the fact that neither of them showed pity/inferiority by 'letting' the other party win, they took as healthy competition... of course, the couples that give up are doing it out of love, i know, but its cool to see this equality n confidence that ITS JUST A GAME)

She did not find the ring. Shiv found it. Mahi was just consoling his bhabhi to get the mood back from saanchi's ranting.
