Yes, excellent episode, two successive good episodes, the one with Sumitra and Anandi was also tops and Jagya and Anandi was very good. Felt a lot of calm after the scene.

You are right, they have unnecessarily massacred Jagya's character, so much of that was not required.

One thing does emerge, Shashank is a very good actor, his control over his voice, facial muscles were not just right, they were superb.

More in the evening...

Did Gauri really manipulate him? how and when?

When Gauri asked Jagya to claim his property she was also asking him to seek forgiveness from the Principle. Jagya listened to her in first case but not in the second case.

He went to Jetsar to see badimasi and he could have come after spending few days ...specially when Gauri told him that his seniors are unhappy with him for the leave. Why didn't Jagya come then? If he would have come, there would have been no Tamasha and everyone would have been happy. And when he got punishment in hospital he blamed Gauri for everything!

Not only that, in most cases, Jagya did what he wanted and what he believed to be right. It was Singh family who cut all ties with Jagya and they did not accept him and overlooked his gestures (like when he saved Anandi or when he put a stake to his career for badimasi) as he was with Gauri.

How can Gauri break his ties with the family when his family itself doesnot want any relation with him?

The only thing that Gauri did was lying about the Bhairon episode. Definitely she was wrong. But considering the fact that Jagya lied thousands times and on more serious issues, Gauri's lie could have been forgiven. Jagya should have asked forgiveness from Bhairon on behalf of Gauri instead of dumping her... What does Jagya think? That he can lie, cheat, can do whatever he wants and everyone will forgive him. But when it comes to accepting others' mistakes or forgiving he wont do ???huh???!

I really hope that CVs dont show any Gaga union - at least Gauri should not try to come back to his life - even not for the sake of the child. It will be unethical for Jagya to be with Gauri if he loves Anandi and their union will be always full of tension. A troublesome marriage cannot be ideal situation for the upbringing of a child.

Frankly, had not expected such sincere salvage attempt- whatever was left- on a bond marred so mutilated-Thanks Cvs. For once he is not merely a prop to forward a tale. He has been placed part of the flow. Perhaps, in as good a corner as possible in such awkward spot, and in spite of some generic melodrama.

He reaps what he has sown. Much more is out there in the queue. Especially on those betrayals, which were slapped without a moment's thought to the victim; strutting his stolen second 'marriage' in very place where he had led her to a trust before-a show of crass insensitivity. In a way poetic justice- exact opposite of that sham relationship, which he had bragged or tried to seize- something far more beautiful, recognized and blessed by all Toady, in the lot of the same victim. To witness this reversal, he must.

The salvage happens on that initial bond, which grew anon the evils of adult world or its customs. Something as simple or innocent as two children's friendship. A bond, long since betrayed, abused or outrun in the tumults of life. And yet it persisted as a tiniest remnant within even that fickle mind. Occasionally surfacing in form of guilt ridden shifts, refusal to slur her blameless character, extending a rescuing hand when she was threatened or alike. Far and few in between serious transgressions. Today, when he tries to restore an innocent smile on her face, wishing her a happier future, recognizing superiority of the current match, he is not doing her any favour. He is doing favour only to his own burdened soul-salvaging some dignity to it.

Stuti.,
An excellently worded POV...

I wholeheartedly agree. I saw a glimpse of what their friendship could have been... should have been. Instead of all the contrived melodrama, they could have stayed honest and executed a beautiful love story between Gaga and Ansh. No need to malign one character in order to convey the moral of this saga. How mature it could have been to see two friends help one another achieve the other's happiness while attaining their own with their soulmates.

Shaista,

I agree on avoidable maligning of one character to shine others or a moral.

Stuti, beautifully but...there was genuineness & sweetness in awkwardness. The sc was brilliantly executed and actors did full justice too. Childhood friends are friends forever. 😳

I loved your last part...Today, when he tries to restore an innocent smile on her face, wishing her a happier future, recognizing superiority of the current match, he is not doing her any favour. He is doing favour only to his own burdened soul-salvaging some dignity to it.

He surely did it for his own sanity and mental peace... this will give him some relief from his overwhelming loss and sorrow. When he realized there is nothing to hold on to...he cannot re-live those happy days with her again as he himself has turned them into painful past so he wished her well. In future they can at least be friends and may be he'll realize that his life truly lies with Gauri. He'll try to make amends now as he himself has put a closer to the past relationship.

Queen-bee,

Beauty of a sincere wish is here. Not only the remorsing culprit gains some reprieve from heaviness, the aim of his atonement herself receives some balm on the injuries, even when they cannot be undone entirely. Look at her personal feeling of lightness- a more carefree step forward- in spite of not an iota of obligation on her part in the first place . A sincere effort, a sincere reward.

Oh Adi thanks for your encouragement once again. In a side note, I do feel apprehensive sometimes, 'do I cross that subtle line between 'dramatis' and pretentious verbosity? Considering a somewhat charged tone of my writings. 😳A feeble defence- if at all I may- is in the fact that generally I tend to reflect on subject which happens to be evocative or dramatic in itself.

Stuti.,
No need of such apprehensions...Your posts are indeed a fresh breath of soft breeze for me...
Your manner of writing is your USP...😃
And I did notice...you tend to reflect on a very sensitively potrayed scene...be it DS & A convo on the Jhula...or J & A convo - y/day.
Many peeps on the forum., did feel that the scene was very 'emotional' - not me., To me., the scene was a well executed one., a required one., and a JUST one.
And am' glad., you have caught the spirit of the scene., exactly in the manner I have perceived it...😃

@stuti...very well said stuti ..i agree with you completely ..i also say Jagaya is not doing any favor on Anandi he is just unburndening himself from a guilt but at same time his intention behind is not unburndening his soul from a guilt or finding some peace or soothe his pain ..because his pain is there..his stammering hands , his voice almost on verge of crying but still controlling himself and coming forward to wish a good farewell to a childhood partner even trying to put a smile on her face .He just came there as Anandi 's childhood friend..the one she use to play with , the one who use to forward his hand to help her and tried to put a smile on her face when she would be crying ...i appreciate his sincere efforts here to give a proper farewell to Anandi ..thus releasing her own soothing soft soul for feeling any sort of discomfort in either way that Jagaya is crying behind me. He even returned her ...her gift assuring her even he accepts Shiv is made for her .He could have been crying in his room i won't come infront of Anandi not make her feel bad but he came with a good spirit to wish her well ..that was indeed a very good work from him and yes i must say now cvs have put dignity into that destroyed character ..Now this is how goodness in him is rising and hopefully in future it will completely purify his soul 😊

@adi ...those who meant scene was emotional it was well scripted no doubt but what touched us was the emotions both Anandi and Jagaya were going through ..bidding a final adieu to their childhood relation ...one relation which saw good and bad moments both but with the way cvs scripted it for a moment we forgot about bad moments because this Jagaya was the one who use to care for Anandi ..her childhood friend and with that nakchadi chuhyia part brought back their childhood moments to us which we use to adore ( at least I once upon a time ).with this superb acting from both Prats and Shashank ..we really became emotional with them ..at least this what i have understood in all the posts who said the scene was emotional
