Idea! - Taming the Shrew

Has anyone read or hear about 'Taming the Shrew'? Book by Shakespeare.

I would really like the Shekars to start taming the shrew they have raised. I know Anandi has replied that it is her job to make shanchi like her and all. But why should it always be her who has to fight and win?

It would be fun for once the family fight against injustice. They started to show the Shekars as strong family with modern thinking. They were shown as a united family who listens to everyone and makes decision that is best for the whole family. They have also tried to show that the shekars are fun loving and open, who laughs and jokes.

With Sanchi's situation, they have a chance to stand up and make a point. Even in modern family, values and understanding are important. It will give us, viewers, a chance to see who the shekars are and what they are really like.

I would be really disappointed if they are just like the singhs. So far, Anandi has stood strong and fought. And the Singhs have supported her, which is RIGHT AND CORRECT.

But for once, I want the whole family to, not just support, but to fight for one of their own. Individually, the Singhs have fought for Anandi like Dadisa, bhiron, Sumitra, and Gehna. But they have not stood united.

Shekars have potential to be so much more. They are not bound by traditions as singhs were. They can think outside the society's rules.

Now back to my original idea, 'Taming the Shrew'. Would it not be fun to watch the whole family tame their shrew? It would be hilarious to watch and it will give the whole family a chance to shine.

I know the whole show is about the 'Balika Vadhu' and her fight. But she is no longer the Balika. The family she came to as a balika vadhu is now their daughter. The show had already shifted so might as well shift the family dynamics as well.

Note: If you are Singhs supporters please do not take offense and start writing how I am wrong about them. This is not about the singhs but about the shekars.
