With J entrenched in Jaitsar and CM back, there is so much negativity in BV these days.
This SS is in hope that A does not come across any more of problems from new re-appearances...
This is a long SS, so folks please bear with me. š³..

It is a hot summer afternoon in Jaitsar. Anandi is returning from school. She is used to the heat and dust.
On her way home, she spots a girl of around 20/21 struggling to walk in the sun. The girl is quite good looking in jeans and t-shirt. Teary-eyed she is analyzing the state of her high heels and the broken straps. She is absolutely not used to walking even on city roads leave alone on mud tracks with lot of kankar. Serves me, right ' she thinks'
Talking to herself: Maine kyun itni jald baazi ki, yeh plan banaaya Jaitsar aane ke liye? Kuch karne se pehle sochthi hi nahi hu? Bhayya always hidayat dete hain ki thande dimaag se socho aur mat samjho ki sab tumhari hisabse hota hai. š”
She is desperately looking for a vehicle to pass by in the hope of asking for a lift.
Anandi is observing the girl and thinks to herself, doesn't this girl resemble someone close to her heart, but does not get the time to think more. The girl faints and Anandi rushes to her side. Tries to anxiously revive her and she is not carrying the bottle of water she always does.
Fortunately, Narayan kaka is passing by them on his way home on his bullock cart. Kaka spots Anandi and the girl and without any further questions helps Anandi to get the girl on to the bullock cart with her heavy luggage too. They reach his home.
Both Kaki and Anandi make the girl comfortable and start fanning her. They sprinkle water on her face and realize that the girl is dehydrated and has sunburns. The girl slowly opens her eyes and finds two women looking very worriedly at her. She is thankful to them that they helped her without any hesitation. When she planned her surprise visit to Jaitsar, she had never imagined that she would end up in this condition. She looks around the house. She has never been in such a situation and does not know what to do.. She is feeling totally helpless and none of the city smart learning can come to her rescue here --Sad, but very true.. She has again misjudged situations, so like of her..
Anandi tries her desi nuskas for dehydration and sunburn and the girl is fairly comfortable now.
A: aap ko kidhar jaana hai?
Girl: Main Jaitsar aayi thi mere bhai ko surprise visit dene ke liye. Socha nahi tha yeh sab hojaayega.. Achi tarah se plan karna chahiye tha. Par kya karo, main aisi hi hoon, kuch soche samjhe bine karle thi hoo, bol le thi hoo..
A: Aapke bhai?
Girl: Yahaan ke DC hai. Ab mai unko phone karthi hoon aur pick up karne ke liye bol dungi..
A nods her head with a smile. Says - bol dijiye ki aap Narayan kaka ke ghar me hai..Woh samajh jaayenge..
Shiv is relaxing a bit after hectic meetings and is very surprised to receive the phone call from his sister. He had never imagined that she would land up here in Jaitsar unannounced and that too in Narayan kaka's house.
He reaches Narayan kaka's house and thanks everyone for helping his sister. He is about to introduce A to Sanchi, when A cutely forbids him to do so with her ever so expressive eyes. Shiv understands and takes her to CH. Saanchi too thanks them for helping her.
In the CH
Sanchi, who is now recovered from her Jaitsar entry ordeal says: Bhaiyya, woh log jinhone mujhe help kiya kitna acche the. Chaahe toh woh mujhe wahi chhod sakthe the. City meh toh koi musibat me hota hai, logo ko parvaah hi nahi hai.
Yahaan to kuch pooche bina aage aakar mera help kiya. I am so thankful. Haan, poochne bhool gayi'who ladki kaun thi? Mere se jyaada 4/5 saal badi hogi, par, she is so clever and smart and knows how to tackle situations. I mean, her presence of mind is admirable. Aur kitne beautiful hai woh, uski aankhen toh say everything..
Shiv with a knowing smile tells her: Ab tum rest karo. Mujhe waapas office jaana hai.
Now turning sarcastic, and raising his eyebrows says: Tumhe toh goanwaale kab se acche lagne lage haan? Tum sach me us ladki se milna chahthi ho?
Saanchi: haan, it is a matter of decency ki main use properly thank karoo..aur curious bhi hoon ki who kaun hai..Sach kahoo tho mera curiosity jyaada hai'
Shiv: Evening lejaata hoon unke ghar aur introduce karta hoon. Tumhari curiosity door ho jaayegi.. Thiik hai?
Sanchi: Haan.
Evening at the haveli
Anandi is alone and completing her school work. Makhan kaka announces that Kunwarsa has come with his sister. Anandi welcomes them.
A: aayiye, baitheye, Shiv aapke meetings kaise rahe?
Saanchi is pleasantly surprised. It is the same girl who helped her in the morning. She notices that the girl who welcomed them is on a first-name basis with her DC bro and talking to him on such familiar terms and with easy camaraderie. Her brother's eyes have lit up at the sight of this girl and he is animatedly giving a report on the day's meetings.
It is a different thing that Saanchi had never seen her brother in any other avatar other than someone who would always indulge her whims and fancies. She gets bored with the discussion going on, looks around and is very impressed with the 'Haveli'.
Saanchi: Bhaiyya, aap bhool gaye kya mujhe introduce karne keliye??
S: Saanchi, yeh Anandiji hai, tumhari bhabhi, sabki chahithi aur is gaanv ki sarpanch..
Saanchi does not know what to say. Suddenly, uske chehre ke rang udd gaye. Ok, so this is the Anandi , whom she had accused of trapping her innocent brother. She had stubbornly refused to see pics of Anandi that her bhayya had sent on online or the saagai video. Well, how could she recognise A?
But, the girl she was introduced to did not remotely look like any one of those people who could plan and phasaofy her bro, she thinks. She remembered all the horrid wild accusations that she made to her parents and brother about A.
She recovers from her shock and with a great difficulty composes herself. As a person who believes at least in the fact the first impressions matter, uske chahre pe ek chota apologetic smile aaya. Kehthi hai - sorry, maine aapko pehchaana nahi.. Mujhe bahut afsos ho raha hai ki main engagement me nahi aayi. Mahi ne bataaya ki kitna khubsoorat tha ' aur aap aur bhaiyya kitne made for each other dikh rahe the.
Shiv wonders what has made his sis come out with an apology and such sweet words, for he had always seen her in a very angry and I don't want to hear about Anandi mode - Saanchi.
Anandi, Shiv, and Saanchi spend the next hour in general talk and by then Dadisa, Bhairon, Gehna and Basant are back. Saanchi respectfully touches their feet and greets them. Shiv is thankful that his sister at least has the family sanskars in right place even though she is ziddi , childish, and prone to outbursts.
During dinner, Saanchi is very appreciative of A's culinary skills and impulsively pulls S ka leg. Says to A: Aap aise khaaana banaati rahegi na shaadi ke baad, tho bhayya ko 10 ghante exercise karne padhegaa..Warna, soche lijiye bhayya ki shakal kaise ban jaayegi..
Everyone is surprised with the fact that a younger sibling is making fun of the older brother. But, by this time Singhs have got used to Shekhars and their family dynamics.
Anandi is having a great fun at Saanchi's expense and giggling continuously at an image of rotund Shiv after stuffing himself with all lazeez khaana every day. (Baalikaas'no brickbats here, part of the story pl..,I know this will put a break on Shivji's shirt utaaro abhiyaan )..
S as usual is turning beetroot red at the conversation'
In CH
Shiv and Saanchi are watching the sagaai video. Shiv cannot fathom the change in his sister, even though he knows it is superficial. Saanchi is watching the sagai proceedings without blinking an eyelid and constantly gushing about how beautiful the entire sagai is and how heavenly Anandi is looking. She hasn't missed her bro's expression when Anandi came down the stairs or Mahi bringing him back to earth n number of times during the engagement ceremony.
Saanchi: Bhayya, ab mai samjhi, aap Anandi bhabhi ke liye kyon wait kar rahe the'
Shiv decides that he needs to have a serious talk with his sis, that he had been putting off from a long time.
With a solemn expression, S says: Mujhe, first tumhe thank karna hai ki tumne wahan Singh ski haveli me, hamaare parivara ka izzat rakha.. Main soch raha tha ki tum any minute, tumhari anger Anandi par dikhaaogi..
Saanchi: Bhaiyya, aapko itna low opinion hai mere baare mein?
Shiv: Opinion ke baare me aur koi din discuss karenge. Par bahut dino se soch raha tha ki tum se kuch baatein karni hai. Ab time aur opportunity mila nahi..
Saanchi, tum bachi ya teenager nahi ho ab. You are about 21 and by this time, you must have learnt something, right? Tumko maine aur ma/papa ne bahut samjhaane ki koshish ki thi. Lekin you never listened. Unfortunately, you are stuck to your own thoughts. You have some many prejudices and you seem to be judging people based on your prejudices. Judging everyone using your likes, dislikes as a bench mark.
Ek baat main clear karna chahtha hoon. Anandi sirf tum se 4/5 baras badi hai, lekin usne jeevan me itne dukh, dard, aur dikkaar saha hai ki tumhe andaaza nahi hoga. Par she never broke down, never lost her moorings. She put her life together and resolutely made a life for herself and for others. She made the best of whatever meagre opportunities that came her way. I always admire her and respect her for that. Poorane dukh mitaane ke liye, usse ubhar aane ke liye woh koshish kar rahi hai. Aur, main uska saath de rahaa hoo, is koshish me.
You have the best of education, exposure and the freedom. But, think about whether you have leveraged any of that for your ownself? Think about it. Doosro ki galtiyaan hi nikaalti ho. What have you done for yourself?
Main yeh rishte ko itna samman kyon deta hoon aur saubhagya samajh thaa hoon, thumne is perspective se kabhi socha hai?
Under no circumstances, are you ever going to say those hurtful words to Anandi. Is that clear? If you hurt Anandi, then you are hurting all of us. Don't become the cause of her pain ever. If you can't be friendly with her, try to be at least civil to her. I don't expect much more than that. But, remember, Anandi se mera rishta dil se judh gayaa hai, tum accept karo ya naa. This is lifelong. Aur, Anandi, un logon me hai, jo sochi thi hai ki shaadi do parivaaron ko judh deti hai. She tries to give her best to all the relationships in this rishta, as a daughter, daughter-in-law, SIL etc. Uske iss prayaas me, main koi problems nahi chahtha.. You seem to be impressed only with her beauty and their haveli. If you build relationships on such oopari facades, woh rishte 'khokle' rishte ban jaate hai.
Sirf main Anandiji ki khoobsurati se nahi judha hoon, unki acchai se, sacchai se, selfless attitude se, aur bahut kuch hai. I really do not know if you will understand, but please try to understand for your own self and for us. At this rate, you will end up with a very skewed view of life. Maybe I was wrong in the way I dealt with you. All along I treated like you were a child. Pampered you. I can't do that anymore. If I continue to do that, I will be hurting you more in the process and messing up your life. You need to come out of your prejudices and relearn lot of things beginning with how you deal with people and relate to them.

S leaves the room leaving Saanchi in a shock.
Saanch is very angry with her brother's talk. He has not spoken to her like this ever in her entire life. It must be because of Anandi'.Pata, nahi, what magic Anandi has woven.
But, isn't it time that she took stock of the entire situation. Her family seems to be so fond of Anandi and have concluded that rishta with Anandi is the best thing that has happened in Shiv's life. She also remembers the conversation with Aashi, whom she always regarded as her bhabhi. But the conversation with Aashi was a great eye opener. Aashi gave her a piece of mind too.
Saanchi knows that her family always wants the best for both the siblings and realizes that she has been unreasonable with all of them from the time the rishta was forged. She remembered all the previous conversations that she had with her brother about the rishta'. Her bitter words to her brother, mother and her entire family. Why is she so different from her family members? Isn't it time that she put aside her nakchadi pan and ghamandi attitude and tried to understand people, particularly the new family member who has become the darling of Shekhars..
Well, it is time for her to take the first step in this process.
Saanchi goes to Shiv's room and says: Bhayya, main soch rahi thi ki main 2/3 din anandhi ke saath rahoon, mera festival holidays chal rahe hai aur mujhe unko samajhne ki opportunity bhi milegi? Kya kahenge aap?
S surprised with this request, says yes and asks Sanchi to check with Anandi.
Anandi and her family are happy with the request and the next morning S drops his sister in Singhs haveli.
It being a working day, Anandi attends to her school, panchayat, and other miscellaneous work related to the village. Saanchi accompanies her in all these trips and is absorbing the varied experiences. She is amazed with A's energy and her commitment to her work.
In spite of her hectic schedule, Anandi has the time to help her taaisa in the kitchen and cook a dish that Saanchi is fond of. Saanchi has never experienced so much aapnapan in the city and she had never expected this in Jaitsar.
One-by-one she is becoming aware of her prejudices. Her condescending attitude towards goanwaale, arrogance, and insensitivity. She wonders how she could be the sister of Shiv and how the siblings can be so different'.
Later in the night, Saanchi and Anandi are relaxing in Anandi's room and start their conversation with general topics.
Anandi is happy to talk to someone on topics which are nothing to do with nahar, panchayat or jaitsar policing..
Saanchi: Pata hai, maine itne din, mere dil aur dimaag ki darwaaze band karke rakhe the. I was stuck with my prejudices and would judge people based on them. Yeh, kitna galat hai na? Ab mujhe bahut kuch samajh me aaraha hai.. I am so glad that I could stay with you.. This experience is an eye opener for me..
Anandi smiles sweetly at Saanchi's confession and says, Saanchi'Maine, aapke bhayya se seekha tha ki zindagi ko uski upri parakh se nahi dekhna nahi chaahiye. Logon ko unke shakal, kapde yah post se judge karna nahi chaahiye.. Aur haan darwaaze dimaag aur dil ke khule rakhne chaahiye..
Saanchi: Haan, yeh bahut correct hai. Main ab jaakar yeh dheere dheere samajh rahi hoo..
Saanchi is looking admiringly at Anandi's ghaghra and her accessories. She has been observing these right from the time she came in contact with Anandi.
Saanchi: aapko color combination ki aur accessories ka kitna accha taste hai.. Bahut khoobsurat se match karte hai.. Aapne kabhi designing pe dhyan nahi diya? Kyonki main designing mein hu, isliye pooch rahi thi...
Anandi had never paid much attention to herself or the way she dresses. She would just ensure that she would look presentable and stick to traditional outfits. She did not remember the last time when she had spent time choosing any outfits or accessories or spent time in front of the mirror. Saanchi realized that Anandi was unlike any other girl she had met. Her thoughts and talk was never on clothes, fashion, or gossip like her friends. Anandi's world revolved around problem solving or nipping problems at the bud. Both are of the similar age, but how different they were. Weren't they?
Saanchi: Is festive season ke liye aur course complete karne ke liye mujhe ek design theme choose karna padhega. Soch rahi hoon ki is baar, Rajasthan ke rango ka inspiration leke kuch outfits design karoo..
Suddenly a thought strikes her and says: kya aap meri muse banegi, matlab aap mere liye design draw karte waqt model karengi'Aapke model karne se un outfits me aapki mann ki khoobsurati, inner strength aa jaayegi. Outifts aur khoobsurat dikhengi...
Anandi is moved with such words and agrees to it. She is looking forward to this experience.
The next day being Sunday everyone is relaxing at home. Saanchi is busy asking Anandi to pose with different outfits and expressions. She wants to capture Anandi's essence and work on it when she goes back. She is so happy with the outcome of her initial drawings and thanks Anandi for being such a great sport and inspiration.
In CH
That evening in CH, Saanchi is evaluating the sketches that she has drawn. Ideas start flowing in her for 'Mitti ke Rang' line that she is planning to present as part of her course completion.
After a few days stay in Jaitsar, Saanchi leaves for Udaipur and Shiv takes her there. Anandi bids a warm goodbye to Saanchi, happy that rishta with her nanad has such a sweet beginning.
Udaipur
Shiv and Saanchi reach Udaipur, Shekhars haveli. Everyone is so surprised to see Saanchi's pleasant, happy facial expression. They wonder what has changed so much that Saanchi is not the same one who was very bitter and disrespectful of her parents from the time of Shiv's rishta.
Saanchi: Sochiye, main kahaan thi? Surprise, surprise.. Jaitsar gayi thi aur Anandi bhabhi see mili..

Haan, aap sabko itna thanks ki aapne mujhe Anandi bhabhi di hai. Dekhiye and she shows her portfolio of sketches that she has drawn.
The entire family is now not only surprised but amazed at the turn of events. Hamaara Shiv is busy ghoorifying Anandi' sketches and imagining her in a bridal outfit eagerly waiting for him. He is brought out of his day dreaming by Daddu, who else.
Ira and Alok were always worried about Saanchi. They had tried their level best to nurture Saanchi as a mature, responsible, and sensitive individual. But, had failed. They were glad and grateful to Anandi for such a change in her. Alok had always wanted Anandi's sangat ka asar for Sanchi to rub on and hadn't thought this would happen so fast. He was glad and very very thankful.
Few days later in the Haveli
Anandi receives a courier and opens it.. There is a beautiful traditional outfit, with matching accessories and thank you note from Saanchi.
The note says: Bhabhi, I am hoping that you like my gift. My presentation went off very well, infact it was the best. Thanks to you. You are such an inspiring person. Agle baar aap Udaipur ayengi tho yeh pehan ke aana. Papa se keh doongi ki, video lekar rakhe. Aasha karti hoon ki aap par yeh bahut jachegi.. Love/regards Saanchi'
Anandi takes the outfit and stands in front of the mirror. She places the outfit on herself, wears the accessories and starts assessing herself very critically. Until now, she never paid much attention to what she wore. She just wore what Dadisa, maa or gehna wanted her to wear or look. Usne kabhi aaine ke saamne waqt nahi bitaya tha, uske ke liye or kisi aur ke liye? Hain na? Aajkal kyon mann kar raha hai ki khoob sajoo? Aur Sundar dikhoo.. Kyon? Usne hi, CS ko daanta thaa na, ki sirf khubsurthi insaan ki pehchaan nahi hai.. Par aajkal aise thoughts kyon aa rahe hai, usko?
Uske mann aur dimaag se awaaz nikal rahi hai ki, woh sundar dikhe uske liye jisne uske mann me jagah banaah li hai.. aur hameshaa khyaalon me aakar pareshan kar raha hai'
Does not she want to look the best for her Shiv. Realizes that she wants to always look the best for her Shiv, his appreciative glances should be only for herself, and maybe lost in herself? With these thoughts playing in her mind and simultaneously blushing at the train of thoughts, she went off to a deep sleep, dreaming of who else, but her Suniyejee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
