Anandi is a bigger person... she forgaveJagiya's all mistakes till now... Anandi might have forgiven Jagiya if she had thought his remorse was genuine and if he had not disrespected her mother. Anandi Forgave Jagiya for whatever he did to her but when it came to her mother she will never forgive him and neither can any child if someone disrespects their dead parents in a way Jagiya did.
in my opinion, if I was Anandi I would have stopped forgiving Jagiya long time ago but Anandi has forgiven him before because she is the bigger person.

i think she shouldn't forgive Jagya... the main and the best reason is that he insult her mother by coming to her house with BHABHUTI... no one in the world forgive someone who insult their mother at least not me and for Anandi ... her mother was dead so thats the really really insulting...

the way of asking maffi is the gr8est concern as maffi is not just maffi, it is inner core feeling of repentence not a word which he thinks will wash all his misdeeds

It is Jagya's misconception that if Anandi forgives then the family will take him back. Why? He has not only failed Anandi,he failed his entire family. The family has denied him forgiveness. Did any one set a precondition that if Anandi forgives ,we will follow suit? No one from Singh's family said this. So why does he think that Anandi is the root cause of him not getting back his family? He,himself is the only cause. His sole problem is he himself. Did he not say to Bhairon that what all I did does not deserve any forgiveness? Then why blame Anandi?
And what happens if Anandi forgives him? Will Bhairon accept him back? I do not think so. Jagya has hurt each and every one. So forgiveness is out of question as of now.
If we start forgiving people who after destroying our lives, come back running to us dropping tears, then forgiveness as a kind gesture will lose all its sanctity.
Look at Jagya. Just because he is denied forgiveness, his true self surfaces. Is this called true repentance? If he was truly repenting, would he have not gone back to Mumbai and tried to do something with his life?Something worthwhile? Something every one can look up to?
He chose to stay back. And for what? To destroy Anandi.
Bhairon had hit the bull's eye when he said" yahan koi bakheda khada karne aaya hai" .The father has read his son inside out and how!

I think you should have concentrated a bit more on the AnSh scene. One thing Shiv said so right - If she would have forgiven him then it cud only send the message that however wrong a son/a brother/a grandson can do...he will just be forgiven without any issues.Dont you think this kind of a message is too regressive for an already orthodox society like ours.Anandi has set the correct moral example here.As simple as that!

i agree completely that andi's not forgiving him was important in this deeply male patriarchal society of ours where men think its their right to break all norms, be completely self absorbed and selfish , and women should set the ideal example by forgiving always and allowing them to be taken back whenever they want to come back . Its almost like they think its their right , and women and wives in particular are doormats, have no self respect and no dignity, will be ridden over willy nilly by their husbands.

it was the manner in which he asked for forgiveness which took the cake- such arrogance and presumption - also why is it that we are still thinking of him getting his family back ?? why is it more his family than anandi's ? simply because anandi is not a blood relative?

Why should forgiving make one a bigger person...???😕...
As Shiv once said...if there was any other person in place of Anandi, after going
through all the trauma of BV and its failure and rejection of the spouse, their heart
would be filled with bitterness towards the society and family...would blame them for
their misfortune but,not Anandi...She has the understanding to realise and acknowledge
that the family also is equally suffering..,has the will power to come out of her sorrow and
work towards plucking out the roots of these evil practises from the society...has the great
heart not to have any ill feelings towards her Gunegaars...all these make her bigger than
any other TV characters I have ever known...
Forgiving Jagya instantly especially when his attempt was tainted by his selfishness
and arrogance would look very unreal and is not agreeable to me...So,I think Anandi
showed a great deal of maturity and understanding in dealing with Jagyas fake repentance
and forgiveness drama...

You know These proverbs...

Forgive and forget...
Subah ka bhoola...
Forget not favour for others but for yourself..
forgiveness sets you free...

Are not just for saying...to implement too in real life..

This relieves not only our mind and help us to move on but also give other person the chance for redemption...
When Anandi's forgiveness was required the most, she didnt...why ?? bcoz she is not in relationship with him...

Yes jagya was always in fault..let him regret...
