USP of Shiv's character

I have been reading about how/what Shiv's reaction should be to Jagya's return to his gaon (if at all this happens) and Anandi's predicament. Apologies for starting a new thread (couldn't locate the existing one).

  1. From the time Shiv's character's has been introduced, he is shown as pragmatic, smart, and sensitive to both professional and personal challenges. I do not watch serials, but this character has fascinated me for the sheer reason that the unfolding of the various facets of this character has been done very intelligently with lovely Ansh and other scenes.
  2. If Jagya returns to Jaitsar for whatever reasons, CVs must continue to depict Shiv with further strength of character and in must no way show traits such as jealousy. Maybe they could have dramatic scenes where we see him internally debating what his further actions should be, but let him not became one of those so many main protagonist characters who succumb to indecisiveness or the martyr syndrome like other ghisaa pita serials floating in the telly space. All along he has been a pillar of strength for Anandi and that's the reason subconsciously she has started relying on him when taking critical decisions. We do not want this character to lose the USP.
  3. Infact, let the CVs show something original, where Anandi shares her dilemma of Jagya's return ( here it is more of A's concerns for J's parents than he being her ex-pati) and how J should be helped on his reform path. Shiv being the professional can think of ways and means on how this could be achieved with Dadisa's help.—All this unknown to J. Simultanesouly, J should start his manthan on why the current mess
  4. One point that CVs going forward in BV can show is the public acknowledgement of Anandi's administrative abilities by Shiv. Yes, Shiv has admired her ability to struggle and come up from such a deep morass. But, all these have been 1-1 conversations or with his family. Let CVs create situations where in the acknowledgement happens that Shiv inspite of his IAS background has learnt management skills from Anandi (OK some of you maythink that this would be mutual admiration society 😊). But this is essential as it would go a long way in boosting Anandi's professional growth and her sense of achievement. Until now, she thinks that she her worth is lesser when compared to Shiv because of his background/education/exposure. That would slowly change and give impetus to both her personal/professional growth, ability to tackle further problems.

Superb analysis of Shiv's character.
Loved each and every word of it dear.
I agree that we should now get to see a more stronger Shiv...Till now we have seen him as a professionally strong man and in personal life a man who has fallen irrevocably in love with a simple village girl...If Jagya does return to Jaitsar then we should get to see a strong Shiv, who stands in support of Anandi in this situation...

I can't help reopen this thread . Yesterday's one thought of Shiv is triggering this post. Hoping that today's episode will bring in clarity.

An appeal to the CVs:

There are plethora of characters in BV who portray anger, betrayal, hopelessness, who are weak, judgemental, and what not, that are more than enough for dramabaazi-tear jerker episodes and so called resultant TRPs 😡.

But, please do not slowly start chipping away the character of S that you have created so well. We do not want him to display any of these emotions that look so alien to his character. Let him remain a strong silent supporter of A – non-judgemental and sensible rather than give in to bouts of insecurity or accuse A (well cannot imagine 😲). Whatever charm BV has gained with the entry of S, it will surely lose if S's character becomes of one of the so many run of the mill characters. Then, what would be the difference between J and S's character with J's reentry in Jaitsar?

Dialogues from S about trust and respect aren't enough-- need to be displayed in full glory in upcoming episodes

uma m,
I second your opinion and me too sincerely hope CV's will make Shiv stand true to his character.
In y/day's episode., yes, he did think for a moment., why A had not informed him of this development...but may be today they will show., that he will come to a conclusion too mentally that A should be unaware of same., CV's just would want to create a lil' bit of drama / suspense regarding an MU that many have felt is on the brink...😉
But am' confident., they will not make him so vulnerable...giving into even a momentary lose of trust in A...he is TOO sensible to do that...😊
BV has indeed given us a marvellous character in the form of Shiv., they better keep up our expectations from him...😊😉
