Disclaimer: For fun and entertainment purposes. Please Anjum fans, don't be upset. 😳

Ok, so let's say you are the casting director and you've been asked to bring viable candidates for the character Gauri. Anjum Faruki has said "bye bye" and is off to happy shores in a few months. So I bid adieu to the gal who made us hating Gauri so much fun. May she have a happy married life and much success in the future also. So back to my point, it can be anyone... anyone!

My fav nomination, at first, was Gia Manek. But that was before they had Gia do the dance and weird if they chose her now. She is pretty. She can act. She is popular. And it would be a role completely different from what she has done before in SNS. I would love to hate her. And the gossip about her would fuel more viewers to come check her out at BV. I am looking at the big picture here folks. Now, I don't know if it can be done, so next nominations... (thanks to magicalworld for the idea of pictures)...

1. Manasi Parekh (Gulaal)

2. Panchi Bhora (Kayamath)

3. Simran Kaur (Laado)

4. Rishina Kandhari

I think Manasi Parekh would be good - good suggestion there! She is sensible and would fit well into the fabric of BV. No clue who the others are, unfortunately... *fails* xD

But anyway, I get the strong feeling that they are going to either kill off Gauri or send her to distant shores along with Anjum rather than recasting.

I agree Sujal. I think they will either kill her off (mistake) or send her off to America like they did with Sumi. I hope they don't cause I really, really want the yin and yang play off of the jodis... ANSH and GAGA... the good and bad... I love the drama it creates...

plus anjum has made gauri so her owm that i really cant picute anyone else, gehna was diff there was harldy any dialouges or role and once in a blue role ata ha but gauri is undoubtedly v important so the person has to be really really good in terms of acting even if there is not much on looks, thats what i love these three( a,j g) looks wise maybe not so great but they have made the characters real and for me it can only be them cant be recasted, howevr agar bht baht karna para then maybe for guari it should be soem theater actress since they all are better at acting!!

Gia... she has done only sweet roles. I want to see the evil side. I think she could pull it off. Plus, I wouldn't mind the few extra trp's she could bring.

1. Manasi Parekh (Gulaal) - too old for jagya and annaid age group- but acts well. I thought she was 24/25?

2. Panchi Bhora (Kayamath) - too old and cant act as well only do sweet sweet roels. True somewhat! But its usually the sweet girls who can pull of mean. But I agree, she may (?) look old for Jagat. But she wasn't bad on Kayamath. She drew the viewer in.

3. Simran Kaur (Laado)was that dia? if so again cant act really well ,gaueri si a stonrg woman and dia can potray more of a weepy type. She had no scope on Laado. Perhaps here she could spread her wings. Anjum still can't really act so I can't discredit her there.

4. Rishina Kandhari (Laado) that i dnt knw who she is , but ladaoo k all acotrs did act, i liked sia the best but she oauld be too old for jagya. She did the mean bit quite well... and looks young enough.

Again... this is a FUN THREAD. I think anyone can make a role their's... it has happened thousands of times. Its just that people do not like change.

Oh gosh, I just finally clicked who Panchi Bohra is. Serious blast from the past! She'd look nice with SV, but her role in Kayamath was very sweet... not sure she could pull off the, "Jagaaat"-style whining and the "Kyun kyun kyun!?"s... xD

Ughhh... just realized it's almost midnight and I need some sleep and rest (long day at college)😭... will read everyone's thoughts in the morning👍🏼.

PLEASE PLEASE, we are NOT debating whether they should recast or not. What I am saying is if we had NO choice, who would you like to see as a recast. No "let her die" or "send her to America"... 🤪

Shashank is 25... and I believe Mansai is around the same age. On here they say she is 24. Either way, I think she could pull it off.

LOL... I wanted bring up some people we had seen in the past. A bit of trivia while we are dreaming up another Gauri. Panchi was sweet, wasn't she? Do you think she's too old for SV? Or maybe she could pull it off? I wonder how old she is. I have seen some people who have played such sweet roles just bite their teeth into negative ones and let go. So much fun to see...😃

Please Count Simran Kaur out. I loved her as Diya in Laado and she is extremely soft spoken and sweet. She will not be convincing as Gauri. Rishina, may be...i don't know the other 2. There was another girl in Laado who played the role of Sara...she will be good. Also Lina Jumani will be good, but she plays Paridhi in PV and is also in Kairee, so we can rule her out.

But Anjum will be dearly missed. I hope she takes a break during wedding and honeymoon and comes back to work as Gauri.

I don't want Gauri's character to be killed. Her character complements Jagiya really well, and they should find a replacement if Anjum decides not to come back.
