Hi Parri, Nice topic.

Something like this was going through my mind as well after watching the episode, and I found the episode quite disappointing. Sanchi's character didn't seem to fit the story line or the family.

Like someone pointed earlier, how can there be a huge gap in behaviours of siblings from the same family. If Shiv is so cultured, grounded and down to earth like other members of his family then how can Sanchi be a spoilt brat, who was not patient enough to listen even.(Although I appreciated her dad scolding her) And really to what extent does Sanchi's approval matter? Teenagers don't really have a big say in their elder siblings marriages.

I really don't want see to another saga where Sanchi calls Anandi gawar / not fit and then A keeps getting her flash backs of taunts from J-G. I don't want to see A losing her confidence all over again and feel more disgusted about herself.

From yesterday's episode it looks like we will soon be entering into a world of household politics. Something that never existed in BV before.

I would love to see CVs closing more important issues such as

- How A gets close to Shiv and accepts this relationship whole-heartedly – some more role for Gehna/ Sumitra to make Anandi understand.

- A getting over Jagya's memories and seeing life from a different perspective

- A's progressive life due to this new family. Not some ugly kitchen politics

- Would love to see downfall of J-G, their acceptance or non-acceptance in Singh family post AnSh marriage.

- G losing against Sumitra

- Jagya – Gauri repentance / redeeming

- And may be a confrontation between AnSh and JaGa.

I still very much want to see the old cast sharing an equal or big screen presence, otherwise it does not feel like BV

I agree. The scenes yesterday were so unnecessary. We didnot need to see a tantrum that made no sense whatsoever. It was wasted screen space. All that panning round and round of a hostel room and running down hostel corridors. Also what a stark contrast when only a few days ago we were watching a funeral and mourning. There seemed to be no flow in the 'feel' of the show. Rather haphazard.

Also how much of the Syrupy Shekhars will we be able to digest. Really! Are these people real. I don't mind CM, but the rest is just too convenient.

I would also like to see a more balanced show, but with substance. I probably will wait till 'Thy Kingdom come' to see the downfall of JG and/or their redemption. I really want that satisfaction. I also want Anandi to see the errors of her way too, taking herself for granted, they need to send a positive message to otheR young women that silently accepting such in the name of selflessness and love is not always good. They need to give the women an OVERT spine in a positive manner, not like how they show it in Gauri.

Hopefully the CV's themselves grow a spine and start to show us this in good measure.

I

Yes, the syrupy shekhars are getting on my nerves too. I think they devoted two whole episodes to the shekhars playing ridiculous games like "statue" etc. and now we really get the point that they are a fun loving syrupy family in direct contrast to dadisa et. al.
To devote half of each and every episode to their shenanigans to show how close knit they are -- scenes of breakfast etc. are just unnecessary.

When Gauri got married she didinot care for any opposition such as sumitra and gehna. She gave a hoot and never tried to build bridges. But anandi will change their opinion. Try to manao them. I like new cast.

Shiv ate pakora(oily) and halwa(sugar) from Anandi. Why he objected to his mom's oily food?

That was a rainy day. and he needed stamina to recover from his roof-fixing exercise.
Oily food first thing in the morning for breakfast when he and his muscular arms are going to exercise in the park is a no-no 😆
