Hey! This is Myraa, a very lazy updater. I am waiting for college to open. I love to write. But as I said I am very lazy so never tried writing for this forum.
So for the first time I am trying my hand at OS.
Here it goes ::::::
Anandi's back has started to hurt. She has been sitting on the same chair for more than 5 hours now. But she doesn't care for it. All she cares for at this present moment is Shiv's health.
She's remembering all the moments spent with him – how he saved her when her chariot went haywire, without even caring who she was; how he saved her from the goons at Jyoti's marriage; how he has always been so respectful of her; how he has always been such a nice human being. She had shouted at him for agreeing to marry her but yet he didn't react. They had shared such awkward moments after that – her divorce, meeting Jagya, the tabela sequence and many more. Her mother, Bhago has also clearly stated her wish that she should marry Shiv. She likes him somewhere but her fear is overpowering her decision making power.
She also remembers when she directly asked him 'Aap mujhse byaah kyun karma chahte hain, Collector Sahab?'
All Shiv could say was 'Aap bataiye. Normally ek ladka ek ladki se byaah kyun karna chahega? Main yeh bhi bata doon aapko ki main kisise out of sympathy ya out of pity shaadi karoon, itna mahaan nahin hoon main.'
She could see it in his eyes how much he loved her but couldn't say anything. She was glad that even after such incidents their relations were back to normal, much due to Shiv's efforts.
And then the inevitable happened. One day Shiv and Anandi had to go to Jaipur for some official work. It was basically to raise their voice against Heth Singh's illegal occupation of a land piece in Jaitsar. Heth Singh was in no mood to give up the land. He was very well aware of the growing proximity between Shiv and Anandi. He knew it can create problems for his ulterior motives.
He believes in power and its misuse. So he decided to stop Shiv and Anandi by the use of power. So when they were going to Jaipur, Bheem Singh wasn't with them and Shiv was driving.
He and Anandi were having a chat.
Anandi : Heth Singh ko yeh sab karne ki aadat hai. Woh Jaitsar ki zameen hai, uss par apna kabzaa jamaane ki himmat kaise ki usne???
Shiv : Aap chinta mat kijiye. Heth Singh ko uski galati ki sazaa milkar hi rahegi. Maine police se…………
Suddenly the jeep came to a halt. Shiv noticed that the tire had got punctured. They got out of the jeep and he saw some nails on the road.
Shiv : Yeh toh kisine deliberately kiya hai.
Anandi : Matlab?
Shiv : Yeh dekhiye. Sadak par yeh………………jaan boojhkar kiya gaya hai yeh……………..
Anandi : Ohhh! Aap jeep mein stepny toh rakhte hi honge na?
Shiv : Stepny hai toh par ek hi hai. Jeep ke toh do tire puncture huye hain……………Main Bheem Singh ko phone lagaata hoon.
He then takes out his cell. Suddenly a noise comes from behind. It's the sound of some people walking, rather, running.
Anandi : Collector Sahab, yeh log mujhe sahi nahin lag rahe.
Shiv : Mujhe bhi…………..yeh…………….<looks keenly at them> Yeh toh Heth Singh hai……….kahin yeh sab inhone hi toh???
It was indeed Heth Singh. Upon reaching them he grinned.
Heth Singh : Hmmm… Chetaavani di thhi maine aapko collector sahib par aapne dhyaan nahin diya.
Shiv : Chetaavani toh maine bhi di thhi aapko. Aapne bhi dhyaan nahin diya.
Heth Singh points his gun at him and says : Zaraa ab isspar dhyaan dijiye collector babu.
Shiv's expressions then could tell the whole story. Anger, frustration were all over.
Anandi got tensed.
Anandi (in a very angry tone) : Aap chahte kya hain Heth Singh ji?
HS : Anandi ji………….Main toh bas itna chahta hoon ki sab khush rahein. Aur khush rahne ke liye zaroori hai zindagi ka bache rahna. Bhai ab agar aap aise mere khilaaf gawaahi dene jaoge toh aap donon ki zindagi toh nahin bachegi. Soch lijiye.
Shiv : Galatfahmiyaan rakhna chhod dijiye. Hum Jaipur toh zaroor jayenge.
HS : Lagta hai collector babu ko apni zindagi ki koi parewaah nahin hai?
HS then points the gun at Anandi.
HS : Isski toh parwaah hai na?
Shiv stares at him angrily.
HS : Kya lagaa aapko hum aapki raasleela nahin dekh rahe itne dinon se???
Before HS could say anything further, Shiv got into his heroic avatar and started fighting with HS and his men. One of HS's men got furious and pointed the gun at Anandi ans shouted : Heth Singh ji ko chhod de collector varna yeh sarpanch jayegi apni jaan se…..
Shiv left HS's collar and stood still. But the man who had pointed the gun, in a shot of rage, triggered the gun. He was standing a mile away from A. Before the bullet could pierce A's chest, S ran and took the bullet on his own chest. Everybody was dumbstuck.
HS (shouts) : Saale maine toh sirf daraane ke liye kaha thha. Yeh kya kiya tune? Agar yeh collector mar gaya toh phaansi ho jayegi tujhe. Bhaag yahaan se.
HS and his men ran away. And A was standing there. Tears fell down her cheeks. She sat beside S's body. He was vincing under pain.
A : Aapne yeh kyun kiya collector sahib?
S : Maine kaha thha na mere rahte aapko kabhie pareshaani nahin hogi……….<and smiled>
S fell unconscious. A called up for Bheen Singh and ambulance and took S to SMS Hospital in Jaipur.
It has been more than 6 hours now and still S hasn't gained consciousness back. A is worried.
Well, she would be worried for any random person also but this anxiety is different………..way different………..and she knows it. BS arrives into the private ward they have taken up.
BS : Anandiji, Collector sahib ke blazer nahin mil raha. Aapne dekha?
A : Ji………..yahin hai. Kyun?
BS : Usmein woh application hogi jo Jaipur ke collectorate tak pahunchaani thhi. Aap dhoondh dijiye.
A : Ji.
A then begins searching for the application and finds it……….hands it over to BS and says : Aap sambhaal lenge na sab kuchh?
BS : Aap chinta mat kijiye. Main sab sambhaal loonga. Chalta hoon.
A now feels something in the blazer's chest pocket. So she puts her hand to see.
She finds the streamer S had taken out from her hair on his b'day.
A (to herself) : Yeh toh wohi streamer hai……………..Hey bhagwaan! Kyun kar rahe hain aap yeh sab? Collector sahib ek bahot bhale insaan hain. Aur main………………?
A looks at S longingly (just imagine the BG tune alongwith). Suddenly FB's come in her mind to haunt again………….how she once took the bullet for Jagya……………how Shiv took the bullet for her……………!!!!!!!!!!
A (to herself) : Nahin collector sahib mujhse pyaar nahin kar sakte……………Nahin……………Par kya main bhi inhein chahne…………..? Nahin…………….aisa nahin ho sakta…………….Kahin yeh bhi Jagya ki tarah badal gaye toh??? Nahin………………main aisa hone nahin doongi…………….kabhie nahin………….
A notices now S gaining his consciousness back. She runs to call the doctor. A returns to the ward, looks at S. S smiles looking at her. A has tears in her eyes.
Doctor comes and says : Ab kaise hain Shivraj ji?
S smiles and says : Better. Thank you so much doctor.
Doctor : Yeh toh humaara farz hai par aapko thank toh Anandiji ko karna chahiye. 7 ghanton se yahin baithi hain. On this broken chair. IV monitor kar rahi thhi. Bahot khyaal rakha inhonein aapka.
A smile spreads on S's face. He looks at A. She still has tears in her eyes. The doctor then asks for leave.
S looks at A and says : Main thheek hoon ab.
A smiles but doesn't say anything.
S again asks : Aapne kuchh khaaya?
A nods her head in denial. S asks : Kyun? By the bye aap mujhe yahaan laayi kaise? Aur kisiko bataaya Jaitsar mein?
A : Bheem Singhji aur ambulance ko phone karke bula liya thha. Bheem Singhji abhi collectorate gaye hain, kaam khatm karne. Kisiko aur ko nahin bataaya. Bewajah chinta ho jaati sabko.
S : Good……………….aur aapne kuchh khaaya kyun nahin?
A : Mann nahin thha.
S doesn't say anything but keeps looking at her, maybe trying to decipher whats going on in her mind.
A : Bura na maanein toh ek baat poochhoon……..?
S : Kahiye……….
A : Aapne meri liye apni jaan khatre mein kyun daali?
S : Sach kahoon?
A : Bilkul sach…………
S : Rahne dijiye…………….koi faayda nahin hai………………sach jaankar aap dukhi ho jayengi aur aapko dukhi dekhkar, main bhi dukhi ho jaoonga………..
A can read something in his eyes. Her mother, Bhago's words are ringing in her head ------------- Laado, har koi Jagdish jaisa na hoye hai………………main toh apni laado ko khus dekhna chahoon hoon…………….main jaanoon hoon kahin na kahin tujhe bhi collector sahib pasand hain par tu darrti hai par soch laado, aaj main hoon, tere saasre waale hain…………kal yeh sab na rahenge………….ekli ho jayegi laado………..main jaanoon hoon tu pyaar na karey hai usse par woh bada hi suljha huya insaan hai…………bahot khus rakhega tujhe……………
Even dadisa had said -------------------- Chhori ekla jeevan kaisa beetaana padey hai mujhse behtar koi na jaane hai……………aus shib beta toh bahot hi achchha hai………..
Shiv is still looking at Anandi being lost in her own pool of thoughts.
A is still thinking. They have a chemistry and she knows it. She always tries hard not to feel anything for him but in the process she feels more and more. She gets worried when he's in pain. She becomes happy when he's happy. She becomes restless when he's not around.
S interrupts her thought process : Anandiji, kahaan kho gayi aap?
A : Sahi wajah bataaiye. Please.
S : Sun paayengi?
A : Haan.
S : Kyunki main aapse pyaar karta hoon. Pata nahin kabse.
A : Par main aapse pyaar nahin karti…….
S : Pata hai. Par yakeen bhi hai ki kabhie na kabhie toh karengi hi.
A (smiles) : Issey over confidence kahte hain………
S : Ab confidence hai ya over confidence…………….yeh toh waqt hi bataayega………..
A looks at him and they share a cute eyelock.😳
A : Itna bharosa hai mujhpar?
S : Aap par nahin khudpar. Aap ek din mujhse pyaar zaroor karne lagengi.
A (smiles again) : Ek aur baat poochhoon?
S : Zaroor…………
A : Pata nahin yeh waqt, yeh jagah sahi hain bhi yeh poochhne ke liye par main………..
S : Don't worry…………….Kahiye…………..
A : Main…………….mmm…………..Aap aaj bhi………………collector sahib………….nahin………..
She closes her eyes and says : Shiv……………ji………………aap……….mujhse shaadi karenge………..?????????
Shiv is astonished……………..elated beyond words…………..but controls his excitement and asks : Par kyun? Aap toh mujhse pyaar nahin karti?😉
A : Ek din karna chahti hoon…………..😃😳
Both of them smile and share an eyelock………..😳
Marriage on cards!!!😃
