I didnt like it ... law is law, and law and order is law and order...
so either jagya deserved what he got ... in which case shiv was absolutely in the right for following procedures and filing a complaint for law and order...
or else, shiv just used his position to harass jagya and gave him some sort of undue punishment...which means he was in the wrong.
If shiv was in the right, I dont think he should have apologized to dadisa saying "sorry mujhe pata hota toh mai yeh sab kabhi nahi honey deta" ... because the collector should not refuse to prosecute someone just because he has personal ties with them.

I knew there would be post on this !

Even I didn't like Shiv apologizing (and that too twice !). He did whatever was right. By saying sorry, did he mean if he knew who Jags was he would have let him go ?
Maybe he was thinking of the divorce proceedings and said that. He probably realized that bcos Jags was stuck in jail, the divorce proceedings got delayed.

But dixie -- even then, I dont think that it was necessary to apologize -- and if what you say was the reason, that apology should have been tendered to dadisa in private -- not in front of jagya who got even more of an attitude listening to the apology. The entire lesson then became wasted on him I guess.

this is love. love doesn't know what is wrong and what is law. his beloved's awkwardness is the thing he worried about. so he apologize. I also know it's not right what he have done, but again it is love

yaar , shiv didn't do anything wrong . But his respect for DS , singh family and his love anandi made him apologize for no fault of his. Moreover in this divorce mess, they had to run to police station to get jaggu to the court . Troubles pouring in together.

But shiv said in mind that jaggu is egoistic , anandi is selfless . He got an idea about jaggu's character

Shiv was just decent to say sorry (although I didn't like it one bit).

Personally,I did not like Shiv apologizing for putting Jagya behind bars. The officer had already explained to all why he was in the lock up. Shiv has so far come across as a no-nonsense officer. So why change the stance now, especially when he was not at fault? More so, when no one accused him of putting their son behind bars. Agreed that he knew the family too well, it would not be proper on his part to compromise on his duty. May be,he could have met Dadisa later on and explained the whole thing.,if at all he felt it warranted .Apologizing in front of sensible juniors, puts him in poor light.

But,then, love makes men do strange things!

Sometimes u hv to apologize without ur mistake... bcoz u value relationships more thn anything... he said sorry bcoz of this DS came to police station...

v cn think in this way tht if he wud hv known thn he wud hv given guarantee of J in mrng and taken him to the court.

Actually i think, he felt sorry for DS , Bhairon and Anandi for having lived with a slime ball like Jag. 😉

On a serious note, i agree that he should not have apologized. But Shiv is a lover now..and he can't be right all the time😛.Logic is usually not applicable when a person is in love. While he was actually working hard to please his loved one in everyway, he suddenly found this as an obstacle and so must have apologized..

I guess in real life too, if you know a family fairly well and a preson from that family does something wrong, you would let the person go off with a warning the first time. Maybe that is what Shiv meant.
