But what happened today has no comparison with all of these. Today Anandi called him a "cheap" literally! Shivraj felt warmth in his ears. And for what Anandi insulted him like this? Just because he wanted to hand over Ashi's gift to her?

Ashi bought a red colored, short skirt for Anandi from jaipur. "It will look so pretty on Anandi..right Shiv?"..Ashi asked him while buying. Shiv tried to stop her from this as he knows it very well that Anandi will never wear it. "It's nice, but Ashi I don't think Anandi will wear it. Let's buy something else na? Some salwar suit? And it would look bad if I'll hand her this gift."..But Ashi was desperate! "No Shiv plsss...can't you do this small thing for me? If I wouldn't have flight tonight then I would have handed her this! She gave me so many things without asking. So I also want to give her something..something which I like'something which is from western cultures?".."But Ashi.."..Shiv again tried to convince Ashi, but he failed. "No BUT anymore Shiv! You will give her this gift and pls don't forget to email me her pictures, wearing this!"..Ashi left that night and Shiv came back at jetsar. Shiv couldn't stop Ashi from buying this dress for Anandi but he convinced her that he will not be able to force Anandi to wear this. If Anandi will wear it by herself then only he will take her pictures and will send them to Ashi.

But then he didn't know that this small gift will make Anandi so furious and she will insult him like this! She even didn't give him the time to tell that Ashi has bought it for her and not him. The moment Anandi opened the gift wrap and saw the skirt, she considered its Shiv, who is trying to impress her by gifting her such dress and left, without knowing the truth! "But why she had tears in her eyes?"..Shiv thought in his mind.."should I call her to know where is she now at 2 PM?"..Shiv started dialing Anandi's number.."don't you think that you will impress me by doing all this cheap tricks!"..Anandi's harsh words came to his mind again and Shiv threw the gift on his desk and left. On his way to home Shiv was listening to radio to forget what Anandi has told him. The news reader at the radio told "It can rain today evening"..."Huh! rain!?..It's 42 degree now..the scorching sun is over my head and sucking my blood..there is no clue of a single cloud at all..and it will rain?" He switched off the radio in disgust. "I need to take a shower!" He said in his mind.

Anandi was sitting at the temple. Her hair, her cloths..nothing was alright and she was crying inconsolably, putting her head on her knees. No she cannot go home now. As everyone will understand something wrong has happened with her. She should cry now, she should cry out loudly..then only she will be able to forget it what Shiv has tried to do! Did shiv really gift her that dress? She couldn't believe it Shiv will ever do such thing. She knows it very well that Shiv likes her, she can see it in his eyes. But she had always tried not to give him any wrong signal, that she also feel the same for him. Yes she likes him..the way Shiv cares for her and console her when she is upset, the way Shiv fought for her with heth sing..no one has done it for her! but that doesn't mean that she is ready and Shiv can be so friendly with her that he can gift her anything! She thought Shiv is different..different from Jaggya! But he also gifted her a same dress like Jaggya gifted her once. Does it mean that Shiv also wants to see her in such low-cut dresses..like Jaggya wanted to see her? Are every men same? Anandi couldn't think anymore..She looked at the sky.

At her utter surprise she saw a dark sky over her head. It was a scorching sun when she came here, she can't remember for how long she is sitting here and now the dark cloud has vanished the scorching sun. It will rain..She thought in her mind. What time it is? Dadisa must be worried..She checked her mobile..9 missed calls from dadisa and…and from Shivraj…..it is 4:30 PM right now. But the dark clouds made this evening looks like a dark night! Anandi stood up, she must go home now. She tried to make up her hair and her cloths with her hands and turned towards the stairs of the temple and got a shock as she saw Shivraj is standing behind her on the stairs! "What made you cry so much?" His voice was very low, she is familiar with this tone of him. One spark went through her spinal cord when she looked at his eyes. Anandi quickly break the eye contact and started looking at the neem tree beside the temple. She couldn't find what she should do now and what she should say. "Why didn't you go to your home? Everywhere it is announcing that cyclone is coming and Dadi has asked me to drop you home as soon as possible..she is worried about you..she has called me, as you are not picking up your phone. And you are sitting here..crying peacefully?" Anandi looked at Shiv as he was questioning her like a guardian, he never did that before. Shiv didn't give Anandi a chance to open her mouth and continues.."So what has hurt you so much that you are crying since last two hours forgetting everything else of your life? What has hurt you more?..A small gift, which I handed you today afternoon has hurt you more or the way you hurt me today, has hurt you more Anandi?"..What Shiv is saying! Anandi thought she will faint right now. She pleaded God to make him stop right now in her mind as she doesn't know how to react to his words. He used to give her indications only, but today he is becoming direct. She held her ghahra with her left hand tightly and she couldn't look at Shivraj anymore. "So madam you will not answer right? Well..fine then..as you wish! After all..why will you answer anything to a cheap person like me! But I just wanted to clarify something to you..but you didn't care to listen to my point then…so may I say my point now?"..Anandi looked at Shiv..her eyes were pleading him to stop it! Shiv ignored it and continued.."It was Ashi who bought that dress for you. There was one letter from her to you…which you didn't see at all. And yes it was my fault that I took the responsibility to give you that gift! I swear I will never do this for anyone else again..not even for Ashi and not for you too."..Anandi tried to say something..her lips trembled but she couldn't say a single word. "Anandi, I have never tried to apply any tricks to impress you..but it's true that I wanted you to be impressed with me like I am impressed with you! But there must be some fault from my side that you didn't recognize me yet..you thought I have wrong intension..and you thought that I can do cheap tricks which will hurt you ultimately….Anandi, I don't know why you became so angry with me today, but I would like to know. Please tell me what has hurt you so much and what was my fault? If you do not want to share it right now then also it is fine..I will wait..But please for my fault don't hurt yourself and your family like this, don't cry like this…please talk to dadi now..she is really worried and please come with me..I'll drop you home."

"I am sorry!"..Anandi said with tear in her eyes.."I don know what happened to me then that I got so angry without knowing the truth and I said such nonsense things and have hurt you! Please forgive me for this."...Shivraj smiles, "It's alright sarpanch ji! We can say sorry to each other in the car also. But if we don go right now, we can be in big trouble as it has announced already cyclone is coming..so let's go!" Shivraj held her hand and they started coming down from the stairs of the temple. When they reached home it was almost 5:15 PM. Dadisa asked Shiv to stay at the haveli for sometime as it is not safe to go outside in this stormy weather also she insisted him that he must eat pakoras made by Anandi. A big smile came to Anandi's face hearing dadisa's words, dadisa will never stop! She noticed that Shiv is looking at her with a smiling face. Anandi smiled back to Shiv and looked at the window and she saw that the rain has just started..
