First of all the basis for love to b long lasting can not b just sympathy...
Love is identifying one's life b in complete harmony with the person to share life...

Even if Shiv does take a bullet for Anandi, it deosn't mean that they will marry so quickly because though Shiv has developed feelings for Anandi they have not come full circle yet. He will slowly and completely fall for her and then he will have to woo her (for which I am hoping he teams up with Dadisa 😉) and that in itself will be A LOT OF WORK. And of course there is the fact that Anandi has a pending divorce, which will take time. And we can be sure of the fact that Jagya will create problems for Anandi when he finds out about her romance with Shiv. So we still have a long way to go, even if Shiv saves Anandi next week out of love!! But even if it is a long journey, it will definitely be worthwhile to watch these two! Especially our collector sahib!😉

I go with Sreevask. You don't fall in love just because somebody took a bullet for you.
And its false that people would risk their lives only for folks dear to themselves. We read tons of stuff everyday in the paper about how people died saving complete strangers.
