a doubt that has been getting stronger for me is that there is a huge possibility that anandi will reject shiv's love. we all know that shiv is falling for her. but her expressions are either neutral or defiant as far as shiv is concerned.

plus we know that anandi is progressive as far as the rest of the world is concerned but when it comes to herself, she is one of the most regressive persons. she did not want to raise her voice against the injustice done to her by jagya, she never asks for her own haq or fights for her own respect with gaga couple and the worst part is that she believes in the 'sasural se arthi jaati hai' nonsense.

she has never thought of anyone except jagya. so what happens when shiv proposes to her. i have a bad feeling that she will put him down very badly!!!

any thoughts?

Agree completely. That is why I wanted Anadi to fall in love first. Ppl seem so happy that Shiv has fallen in love with Anandi. Muzhe to uspar daya aati hai.

Me too. I can almost imagine the look anandi will give him followed by a big lecture...i don't want the poor guy's heart to break.

i guess it is too soon to tell, howeever i feel it will be such that she feels as if family is getting rid of her, right during the divorce she will reject sid but will be already in love till then and maybe an altreracation btwn j n shiv will help her choose shiv

Well its natural to her behavior that first she don't want to takes step towards second marriage when she is already very much hurt and right now she is not in condition to belive on shiv. Shiv love cures her slowly and brings happiness in her life. As per her right that you talking about anandi have diffrenat perceptive she is not among one who celebrate there victory over pain. She thought jagya being victim of balvivah so she never thought about given punishment to him but at the same time when he did wrong asking money on the basis of her divorce she take a stand against it. I think its soon to talk about that she reject or accept him but eventually soon situation will change.

i think my point was a little different. a lot of people here are talking about wheather or not anandi can trust shiv's love after being hurt by jagya, my point was that its won't be about trust with anandi. it would be simply about her believing that she is only meant to serve her sasra and the village and that its wrong for her to even think about another man, even afte the divorce.

I have to agree with you, jiya25, much as I don't want to! I really hope he doesn't propose to her for quite a while, else he really will get a massive bhashan... She needs lots of time and lots of experiences with him to really learn to trust him and start thinking of him in that way. Otherwise it'll be like a bolt out of the blue and she'll go all, "HOW DARE YOU - I THOUGHT YOU HAD RESPECT FOR WOMEN!!!!" on him. 😲

Then again, building on the comparison someone brought up in another thread... Darcy had to propose twice before Elizabeth accepted, and there was a world of difference between her opinion of him the first time and her opinion the second time. While Anandi certainly doesn't hate Shiv at the moment, he's just a work colleague to her right now and I don't think she would consider him a 'friend' as such. More like someone with the same aim as her - Jaitsar ki unnati - with whom she is working towards a common goal. So her anger wouldn't be because she thinks he's rich and snobbish and generally horrible (like with Elizabeth and Darcy) but because she simply does not expect him to trespass the professional/personal boundary. Later, once she has reconciled herself to that idea through a lot of thinking, and a lot of him proving his worth to her, she'll be a lot more receptive.

Well she said that jagya to her that parent taught her things from childhood and do you know even our parent explain some thing we start to believing this here is same happened with anandi. But then she will come out of this shell when she realize shiv true feeling towards her. Right now she is hurt she wanted to focus of her life with helping other people. So let it be. Time will hill all problems. plus its jagya pointed about her living with his parents so she replied to him that no mean she will never leave her sasra..
