What is wrong with gauri's POV?

I see so many brickbats on the forum that gauri keeps telling j that she is bringing home the money and that he doesnt do anything. And people keep saying that she is trying to make him feel inferior.

I honestly dont see anything wrong in gauri's language.

It would be one thing if gauri was the one earning, and jagat had been incapicitated by an accident or a paralytic stroke ... then yes, her comments about her being the one bringing home the salary would be in bad taste because he was UNABLE TO WORK.

In the current situation he is fully capable and able-bodied -- and she wouldnt have any issues if he sat at home and studied. But he doesnt study either. He wont take up any job anywhere even as a bridge to a future career. Nobody said he needs to work in those hospitals on a lifelong basis... even as a bridge he wont take it up?

Anyway, she is not forcing him to work either ... all she wants is that he should have some goal in mind, and be disciplined enough to use this time wisely... but he does nothing except take naps in front of the tv, creating a filthy mess and then he yells that he is busy ... busy doing what I ask you? busy doing nothing?

So why is she wrong in reminding him that she is bringing the salary? She wants to ensure that he understands that he is not welcome in her life as a lifelong parasite who makes no contribution.

I genuinely wish to understand so will appreciate all replies.

omg teesra counter thread pur koi baat nahi aankh band kur pataa lagaaya jaa sakta hai ki gauri supporter aur gauri non supporter ka kya reply hoga

this is not really about gauri supporter or non supporter.

I am genuinely trying to understand. I am putting myself in that situation and even I would remind my husband that i am the one earning if he was simply sitting at home for no good reason.

I repeat this is not about the serial and therefore not a counter thread.

My question is about the concept. I am not defending gauri.

Tinoo I will say only one things, the wrong is only the way of handling situation, both by Jogia and Gouri. Both r stubborn, blame each other, no compromise, no thinking how to come out from the situation. Such marriage life can't sustain for long and here people talk abt TRUE love.

I agree.. I found nothing wrong in Gauri's expectations.. Nikamme ko nikkama nahi bolegi toh aur kya bolegi 😆 Mai toh kehti hook make him feel embarrassed of his very existence.. make him feel worser than an insect 😆

And its really horrible to see your man waste his life... Talking from a very Indianized perspective also its so horrible to see your husband sit at home, wonder how doesn't his male ego hurt to sit at home and make his wife work.

Talking from a global perspective where a man and a woman are on equals.. its still horrible.. at least he can do the household stuff, when she's earning the bread.. and it was sweet enough of Gauri to have offered him to have lunch with her.. His highness expects her to have called him and enquired if he got a chance to eat anything or not. Instead of searching utensils for left overs he could've at least cooked 🤢

for the first time i agree with gauri...

but .. the fact remains that both of them are selfish, so this marriage will be in rocks. before they had anandi to blame for their plight and now since there is no one...they are uncovering their weak points of their so called marriage
